THE RULES
REGISTERING
make sure you register with a first, middle initial followed by a period, and last name, in capitals.
right, it sounds more complicated than it is. here are examples of good and bad:

HARRY JAMES POTTER BAD
HARRY POTTER BAD
HPFREEEAAAK!!!1110101 VERY BAD
CANONS
okay, so basically, the canon list is pretty free. there aren't too many prescribed relationships,
well, in my opinion anyway, so you're open to plot with basically anybody. i do ask, however,
that you adhere to what's on the list. if it says that MRS X is married to MR Y, then... well, it's
pretty straight forward, right? good.
CHARACTER BUILDING
be a little original when it comes to your characters. NOT EVERYBODY IS SARCASTIC. no
perfect characters, because that's never any fun. also, not everybody has had a majorly d-
ramatic past. just keep that in mind. all characters MUST be over the age of eighteen. that
is my only big rule. be realistic, please. there is no way that you'll have eighteen year old
lawyers running around.
PLAY-BYS
right, well, i'm not going to ban any particular play-bys, but i will say that its nice to have a
mix. when it comes to picking a play-by for a character, please, if you can avoid the disney
types, it would be great. as i said, i'm not going to ban anything, but i really am tired of seeing
the jonas brothers on every site around.
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS
you can have multiple characters, no maximum, just make sure you spread the love around. try
not to dominate with one.
RESERVING
alright, i know that this is in the canon thread, but i thought this should be said here. if you r-
eserve a character, you must post an application within a day, otherwise your reservation
will be deleted. no mercy. it can be incomplete.
WRITING
this is an advanced role play, which means that posts of about 4 paragraphs are expected. 600
words and over is a good post length. use proper spelling and grammar. use a spelling check.
it's not hard. if you don't, i'll know, and i'll pull you up on it.
GOD-MODDING
no god-modding. simple.
ACTIVITY
especially if you play a canon, be active. no one likes people who join with a fantastic character
and then never posts. there'll be activity checks every so often, but don't join if you aren't going
to be active.
FIGHTING
as much as in character fights can be fun, keep it out of the ooc forums. i'm not going to run ar-
ound being a peace-maker, so just don't do it.
RESPECT
everybody just wants to have a good time, right? just respect the admins, be nice to one another,
ect ect.
RATING
rated r. sure, there'll be sex, drugs, no rock 'n' roll, but yeah. no porn or anything, though.
GRAPHICS
signatures and avatars are nessecary. if you can't do it yourself, go to rcr or ask somebody
in the graphics forum to help you out. it helps having some kind of idea what characters look
like. don't make 'em too big. not too little.
EXTRA
if you're the creepy guy prowling around asking people for sex threads, piss off.
also, if you're looking for a catch phrase for your app, write ADMIN EDIT.
