News from Bill and Tom: They're preparing their comeback in California!

One of the two wears a leather jacket, a basecap and sunglasses, the other one sports cornrows and baggy clothes. Are two members of an US Metal-Band strolling down the street in Los Angeles/California? No – Those two guys are Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both 22) from Tokio Hotel!

It's gotten quiet around the mega band: Their last studio album "Humanoid" was released in October 2009. But the time for waiting will be over soon! The Kaulitz-Twins moved to L.A. to work on new songs for their album and as BRAVO learned, eight tracks have already been recorded. Gustav and Georg will join Bill and Tom soon. Those two are currently living in Madgeburg, but they keep in touch with the twins via Skype.

In the meantime Bill is getting inspired by the californian Rock-Scene. He's already dreaming about rocking the big stages with Tokio Hotel at some of the biggest music festivals the US has to offer. "I attented 'Coachella' last year – I had the time of my life", he gushes.

But he'll definitely show a musical sign of life in May, because the song "If I Die Tomorrow", a track he recorded with US Electro-Band Far East Movement, will then be realeased. "Bills voice is unique, we really wanted to have him on this track", the four Far East Movement band members revealed. BRAVO will keep you up to date on anything Tokio Hotel related…

Tokio Hotel: A new beginning, in L.A.

What’s new with Bill and Tom? They are preparing their comeback, in California!

Two guys are walking down the streets of Hollywood. One of them is wearing a leather jacket, a cap and sun glasses, while the other one has his hair in cornrows and wears baggy clotheses. Are these two Americans rockers? No, they are Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both age 22), members of Tokio Hotel! There’s a lot of silence surrounding them lately. Their last album, “Humanoid”, was released in 2009, and since then there was nothing new regarding Tokio Hotel. But the waiting for the fans comes soon to an end! The twins have moved to L.A. to work on new songs and, as we found out, the majority of the songs are already composed. Their colleagues, Gustav and Georg, will join them soon, in order to start recording. The two have remained in their hometown, Magdeburg, Germany, but they keep in touch with the Kaulitz twins. Meanwhile, Bill is gathering information about the rock music across the Ocean and hopes that, soon enough, he could hold a concert in an important US festival, along with the band. “Last year we were at Coachella and had a great time there”, says Bill. After a long break, a new song will be released, in May, entitled “If I Die Tomorrow”. The song is a feature with the American electro band Far East Movement. “Bill has a unique voice and we really wanted to work with him”, say the four guys. After 2 years of break, Tokio Hotel Stars, Bill and Tom are back in public! But why were 2 brothers not here for so long?

In BRAVO Tokio Hotel Twins explain their escape to USA.

WE JUST NEEDED A TIME FOR OURSELVES.

More than 6 Million sold CDs, more than 300 Live Shows and more than 90 awards - worldwide! Tokio Hotel belong to the most successful German bands of all time. But for 2 years, the band took a break. Twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both 23) moved from Hamburg to Los Angeles/ California. Since then, there reigned an absolute silence about Super Band. No new music, no performances. From time to time paparazzi shot came up - and that's it! But now they're back again. We'll see them as judges in 10th season of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" at the beginning of 2013 on RTL. BRAVO met the coolest German Twins back at the first castings in Berlin Club Felix. Great meeting, just like with old friends! BRAVO Team was with the band since their start in Summer 2005. What changed? Bill looks totally different. He has a beard, a lot of piercings and tattoos and he's more muscular. But he shines just like before and says: "We're totally fine." In last few months German media were criticizing Bill and Tom - they looked anorectic and totally exhausted. "We didn't care about it. Headlines are always the same. Our whole career. But don't worry, everything is alright", explains Bill. They had a lot of time to recover. "Since we moved, we're finally relaxed. We decided to completely disappear from media, not doing any interviews and photo shootings. Tom and me just needed a time for ourselves." It was impossible in Germany. They were besieged everywhere. It wasn't a normal life anymore. "In Los Angeles we could go to Supermarket or in the cinema again" explains Tom. But they're known also in the USA. Paparazzi are waiting for them. "You can't avoid that in the city. Sometimes I think I'm totally unnoticed - but then someone took a photo." says Bill. "There are some idiots who follow us everywhere. But it's okay." Guys didn't just relax, but also worked on new songs. "It gave us so much, to be able to write and produce new songs without a pressure. It took us on completely new level. We have a lot of material - most of them will be never published, but a lot of yes.", says Tom. But when will it be? Is there any date for new album? "We don't have a exact date. We give us time". Waiting will be sweeter because of Bill and Tom taking part in "DSDS". "The biggest challenge is the time of work at the shootings" Tom laughs. "Here we need to wake up at 6 AM every day! Normally we go to bed at this time..."
