Long pillars carried the ebonite minx through the threshold. Her large nares flared, taking in the strange scents while her auds swivelled, listening for danger. Widened orbs looked around with worry as her limbs launched her upward towards the sky blanketed with stars. Landing in somewhat of a thorn bush, the maiden's breath became quick as the temperature dropped. Struggling to get free, the binds tore at her flesh like hungry monsters emerging from the hardened ground. Tearing free from the grasping claws of the bush, the mare of ancient breeding carried on with her journey. Her legs trickled with blood that was oozing from the deep gashes left behind by the clutching grasps of the brambles. Rythmical beats echoed through the rugged terrain's high walls as she emerged from the darkened forest. Her breathing came in an unruly fashion after the whole bush scare. The young minx slowed her pace as the blood finally came to rest on her overgrown hooves. The socks on all four legs were stained by grass, dirt, and now blood. Her face, unmarked by ivory, turned as she looked back at what she had left behind. Giving a long sigh, she knew things were going to be different and so was she. The others wouldnt know what was comin.....
