Been a Lost fan since day one. Now I'm rewatching while waiting for season 5.
I have worked in the medical field for years (LVN) but since moving to Oakland this month I don't have a job yet, just started looking this week. Oh, I have 3 grown kids.

Hi Joyce! I used to live out west too, up in Valencia. Here in lovely Wrentham, MA now.

Also in the health care field as a NP.

It's great to finally hear from you. I'd tell ya more but as Cher says I'm sure you already know. :D Hope to see you alot more often.

I went the Family route. Figured that way I could work with any population, ages birth to death.

Have your daughter compare and contrast the two specialties (NP to PA). In this state a PA cannot practice if their supervising physician is off premises. And they don't earn a Master's Degree. I think the degree thing might be changing tho.

NP's can work without their supervising physician around. As long as there's someone available by phone. Sometimes they can even open their own practice.

I love it. Except today when my boss called and said she was going to do the nursing homes and I had to see her patients and my patients all by myself. I told her next time she wants to do that to give me more of a heads up and not tell me at the very last minute!!! It was crazy!
