Is everyone dead or does the loop continue?

Last night was AWESOME! Definitely, an :o ending.
Which has led me to think is everyone dead? And was this all apart of the loop? Did all of this have to happen and by doing so did it actually work? I think that our Losties had ALWAYS traveled back into the past and that they had ALWAYS detonated the bomb. Reason being... the condition of the Statue's foot. I think the Statue got that way because of the bomb. We've seen it entact not that long into the past. But not in the future. I think by the Losties detonating the bomb they were just continuing the cycle. I think whatever changed the future happened before the incident. It's obvious that Faraday was successful.
Eloise said so when she told Penny in the hospital ,when Des survived, that she didn't know what was going to happen from here. So, Daniel managed to change something around that time. As for the Losties doing what they were doing... I think they were just continuing to do what they had always done. Further evidence of this is hinted at when Dr. Chen was told that he would be evacuating people from the island in a few hours. And that is exactly what he had done in the past because that's how Mile's got off the island along with Charlotte.
So, where does this all leave us?

The Locke that's up and walking around is a manifestation of the other guy from the beach who wanted to kill Jacob.

The Locke in the coffin is just a dead Locke.

Well, we at least know who's supposed to be on Jacob's "team". Richard, Kate, Sawyer, Jack, Hurley, Locke (the real one), Sayid and Ilana. 'Cuz those are the folks that Jacob touched (that we know of). I think that's who he means when he says after Ben stabs him "they're coming".

Maybe they're the "candidates" that Ilana referred to when Bram wanted to know why they still had Frank with them. Maybe they're all candidates to fill Jacob's position, because he always knew that some day the other guy on the beach would figure out a loophole and get Jacob killed.

And didn't it totally seem like Jacob brought Locke back to life after he fell out the window?

Locke's doppelganger is the "Lost" equivalent of Esau, I think. I read something about that yesterday, but damned if I remember where. However, I take exception to the idea that it's a retelling of the story. Not/Locke didn't kill Jacob; Ben did. However, it makes me wonder...every time we see Christian, is it Christian's body brought back to life or is it the same...spirit...manifesting itself as Christian?

And Claire. If so then that's why she hadn't a care when she abandoned Aaron. Good thing Kate took him. Now he's where he belongs. With family.
