Nicknames: Never ever call her Celeste. As far as she is concerned, her name is Jordan and that is the only way she will introduce herself. The only person who ever gets away with calling her Celeste is her mother.
Age: She is nineteen years old, though she could easily pass for twenty-one when she wants to.
Birthday: She was born on November 10th, 1988.

Occupation: She is a hunter and doesn't really have time for any other job. Besides, the fact that she doesn't stay in one place for very long makes it almost impossible to hold a job. Though she is not one that likes to get her money and other things through less than desirable means, her dad isn't above some minor fraud so she will take anything he gives her.
Do They Know: Just saying yes doesn't seem to do this question justice really. It would probably be better to say that she doesn't actually remember a time that she didn't know about demons and witches and everything else.
How Do They Feel: Though there are probably some that think that she is a bit crazy, she enjoys knowing about that other world. She enjoys being a hunter and wouldn't give it up for anything.

Celebrity Face: Cassi Colvin
Hair: Her hair is a dark chocolate brown and she honestly wouldn't have it any other way. She feels that the dark hair suits her skin tone really well and looks great. It is rather long at the moment and hangs down to her mid-back and has a slight wave to it naturally, though she prefers to wear it straight.

She has bangs of a sort but they are a little on the long side. If she were to wear them straight down they hang to just underneath her nose. She usually brushes them to the right side and tucks them behind her ear. She prefers to wear it down since it looks the best that way, but she will pull it back if she has to.
Eyes: She has piercing blue eyes. They are a rather pale shade and are often the first thing about her face that people notice. They usually only show what she wants them to show and if she is facing something that she has hunted they get rather empty and cold looking. They are framed by thick, dark eyelashes that are usually enhanced a bit by mascara.
Height: She stand at around five feet eight and a half inches.
Body Shape: Jordan has an amazing body and she knows it. She is long and lean, with more muscle than anything. She has long arms and legs that border on being too skinny like the rest of her, but there is definite muscle tone there. Her stomach is nice and flat as well. Her chest is of an average size and it suits her frame nicely. Though she is definitely muscular and toned, she doesn't really look bulky at all, which often causes people to underestimate her.
Clothing: She dresses in such a way that it shows off her body, she can move easily in it, and she can hide any weapons that she might need, which is definitely harder than it sounds. Though it is much easier to accomplish during the colder months. When it is cold outside, she can get away with wearing long sleeves and because of that she can wear wrist sheaths and carry a couple of extra knives. Plus she has a longer blade that she wears in a back sheath when she can cover it with her jacket.

She absolutely adores skirts and pants but it is very rare that she is ever seen in dresses. She likes her skirts to be a little on the short side since then she can wear thigh-high boots, which she has had custom sheaths made for so she can hide a few blades or her sai in there for an easy draw. Pants make it a bit harder for her to be as prepared so she usually opts for skirts.

During warmer months, she tends to wear tank tops, halters, short-sleeved shirts and pretty much anything else as long as they aren't baggy. She cannot stand it when her clothing is baggy since she feels like it restricts her movement a little bit. During colder months she still typically wears tank tops and halters, but she will always have a jacket or something else to cover up her arms.

Her weapons are basically part of her wardrobe since she rarely leaves where she is staying without them. All of her blades are made out of silver and have been blessed. She has the two that she wears in her wrist sheaths and the one that goes on her back when she has something to cover them. She will either carry silver blades or her trusty sai in her thigh sheaths when she has boots to cover them up. If not, then she will usually work out some sort of method of carrying weapons with her. She would probably carry a gun with her if she thought she could get away with it, but a gun was usually harder to hide.
Other: Her skin is a nice golden tan though it does tend to get just a bit lighter during the colder months since she doesn't spend that much time out in the sun. She has a few scars from over the years but that is to be a bit expected considering her line of work. She has one that cuts diagonally across her left wrist, one just underneath her collarbone though that one is a bit small, and one that looks like claw marks that are located on the right side of her back just above her butt.

She is not really a makeup person and hardly ever wears any. She usually wears mascara and occasionally lipgloss but that is about as far as her makeup goes. She has a couple of tattoos at the moment. The first is a branch of sakura that snakes from the top of her left shoulder blade, down her back, and around to the front of her right hip. It is there to symbolize that luck is always at her back. The second one is a scarab beetle and that is located on her right wrist. She got that one because it is supposed to help protect against evil. She has never really been a fan of jewelry, but she does wear a sphere of amber on a chain around her neck to help protect against negative magick. She also has her tongue pierced.

Her voice is naturally a little higher in tone though it is nowhere near the annoying pitch that some people have. Though, she has sort of mastered the art of changing her voice slightly if she doesn't want people to remember it. She can make it sound lower, breathier, or even higher.

Overall Personality: Jordan was born with her moon, sun, and ascendant signs all in Scorpio and because of that, she definitely has a lot of the characteristics of a Scorpio. She is a self-reliant person who seems to need constant activity to be happy. She has lived on her own for about three years now and rarely ever asks for aid in any of the hunts that she goes on. As soon as she is done with one job, it is almost like she feels the need to find another. She is never satisfied with relaxing or taking time off and needs constant stimulation.

Her feelings can be a bit intense at times and tend to go to the extremes. If you can actually get through to her and cause her to like you, then she will probably consider you a friend for life... unless of course you do something to screw that up. The opposite is true as well of course. If you do something to get on her bad side, then she will never be able to get past the grudge that she will hold.

She is very in touch with her sexuality and because of that, she doesn't mind using her body or sex for that matter if it gets her something that she needs. Hell, sex is actually something of great importance to her, though it is almost always casual and she can't even remember the last time she was in an actual relationship with the person. To be honest, half the time she can't even remember their names in the morning.

She is not really the kind of person that likes to open up and show others how she is feeling. For the most part, she has mastered the art of hiding her emotions over the years. You will rarely see her truly happy and it is almost unheard of to see her cry. There are actually many times when she is on a hunt that her eyes go cold and dead, almost as if she was completely numb to feeling anything. Sometimes just thinking about the past will bring that out in her as well.

Strengths:

\\ One of her biggest strengths is probably her appearance. She looks soft and feminine and because of that people usually underestimate her. Also, she has learned to use her looks to get things that she needs, like a place to stay.
\\ Since she was raised in a family of hunters, she knows a lot about demons and other supernatural creatures. Her family had been collecting information for generations and she always has access to it when she needs it. She is quite intelligent when it comes to that kind of thing.
\\ She has trained in judo and kenpo so she is pretty good when it comes to combat. She took judo for the throws and the grappling maneuvers and kenpo for its quick, offensive moves.
\\ She is rather skilled with weapons, though that is to be expected considering her father started her training when she was really young. She can fight with knives, throw them fairly accurately, and she is pretty good with sai since those are by far her favorite.
\\ If she wanted to, she could track almost anything. She has spent enough time hunting that she has learned to notice the tracks that these things leave behind. Some are harder than others considering they return to the Underworld, but if she puts her mind to it then she can usually track them the next time they surface.
\\ She is what some would call a sensitive. She can sort of sense when magic is being used, though not what is doing it or even what has been done. It's just a feeling that she gets that is almost like a tingling on her skin that sort of demands attention. She didn't understand what that feeling was until just a few years ago. She can't really do anything when she gets this feeling but it does at least make her pay more attention to her surroundings than normal.

Weaknesses:

// Her hatred of the demon that killed her brother sometimes blinds her. When Julian is involved, she does not always think clearly and cares more about killing him than anything else.
// She is not really a trusting person. In fact, if you aren't in her family then she doesn't trust you at all and probably never will. Even then, there are people in her family who she probably wouldn't trust at her back. Her uncle Mike is a perfect example of that since the man is a little crazy, but he is a damn fine hunter when on his own. If for some reason she has to deal with someone else on a hunt, she usually spends as much time worrying about them as she does the thing that she is hunting.
// She can occasionally be a cold-hearted bitch. Ok, well more than occasionally... She has done and seen so much in her lifetime that mortals really shouldn't see, that it has sort of numbed her on the inside a bit. She doesn't really care about whether she hurts someone's feelings or whether they even really have feelings for that matter. It sometimes bugs her that she is like this but not enough to really try and change it.
// She is sort of torn at the moment between whether or not she considers witches, good ones at least, to be as bad as the rest of her family believes. She was raised to believe that all things supernatural are evil but the more she runs into witches, and their whitelighters for that matter, she questions that belief. Questioning herself is never a good thing since it causes her to hesitate or to be soft and that could very well get her killed.
// She is stubborn as hell. As far as she is concerned, it is her way or no way at all. She will not bend to someone's will no matter how stupid it is. There are always exceptions to the rule of course and that is usually with her father. She is a little less stubborn around him... sometimes.

Likes:

+ She loves her weapons. They are like her toys and she always gets really excited when she gets a new one. She gets almost little-kid-at-christmas-time-excited when she gets a new one and it can be quite entertaining to watch for those that know her.
+ She loves to eat. She isn't really that picky of an eater so she would eat practically anything. She just really enjoys food and can be found eating a lot if she needs to think or just wants to be out of the hotel or something. She especially likes good diner food and thankfully Chicago has a bunch of 24-hour diners.
+ She absolutely adores men. They are actually a bit of a weakness for her since if she finds someone that she is really attracted to, she can either be distracted by or simply stop what she is doing and sleep with them. She is not really all that picky about how they look as long as they are hot.
+ Though most people don't really know this about her, she really likes cats. She would never have a pet since she just wouldn't have the time to worry about the thing with her lifestyle, but if she did it would definitely be a cat.
+ Her iPod and her music is like a necessity in life. She hardly ever goes anywhere without them and when she does it just doesn't feel right. She doesn't necessarily blast her music though when she is out on a hunt since it takes away one of her senses and that is never good.

Dislikes:

- She hates the fact that her brother's death sometimes still haunts her in her dreams. She has seen things that were much worse than that since it happened, but for some reason that night keeps creeping into her dreams from time to time, which of course causes her to not want to sleep during those times.
- She despises the color pink more than almost anything else. Its just so girly looking and annoying and ugly and she just doesn't see how some people can actually find it an appealing color.
- Though she often uses it to her advantage, she really hates it when someone underestimates her. Its like people assume that she can't do anything because she has boobs. Hell, she can fight better than some guys so the stereotype just bugs her a bit.
- She really hates not knowing something, especially if it is something that would help her with a hunt. She doesn't like feeling stupid and she will usually try and read up on it as soon as she gets a chance.
- Religion in general is not really something that she feels like she can relate to. She understands that people feel the need to cling to their delusions about God and everything, but she has just seen too much in her life to believe that God is even real.

Habits:

* She has a tendency to brush her bangs to the side or tuck them behind her ear. It's not really a nervous habit or anything, but if they are loose then she will be doing just that.
* If she is nervous then she tends to fidget with her weapons slightly. She won't actually pull them out or anything, but she will occasionally play with the handles of the blades or just rest her hands in the general vicinity of some of her weapons.
* She tends to play with her tongue ring when she is bored. She will click it against her teeth and just mess with it in general.

Favorite Color: She is a big fan of green, though she prefers the darker, richer colors.
Favorite Food: She adores pizza. She is really happy about being in Chicago since they have some of the best people that she has ever had.
Least Favorite Food: She's not really a picky eater but if she can avoid blueberry anything then she will.

Sexuality: Jordan is definitely straight. She has never been attracted to other women but men have always been a bit of a weakness for her.
Loves:

>> So she is a bit shallow when it comes to guys and how they look is actually really important to her. They need to have a nice body and an attractive face or else she won't even bother. She doesn't really look at the personality of a guy much since she doesn't usually stick around much after morning.
>> She likes a guy that isn't afraid to stand up to her and doesn't let her push them around. She will easily take advantage of someone that will let her, but she prefers it when they have a backbone.
>> She likes it when guys have either shaved heads since those are fun to run her fingers over, or enough hair that she can grab it and pull it if so desired. She doesn't like guys with really long hair though.
>> Being a hunter, if she were to actually look for a guy to have more than just a fling with, she would want them to be at least somewhat knowledge about the world that she lives in. It's really hard to date a guy that doesn't know that demons really exist since then she has to explain crap to them like why she randomly travels or disappears.

Hates:

<< Clingy guys really drive her nuts. She is not really a relationship kind of girl so when guys start to cling and want more than just an occasional invitation to her bed she gets a little annoyed.
<< Though she likes her guys to have at least a little bit of a dominant personality to them, she hates guys that try to control her. Most likely if you try to control her or what she does, she will do the opposite of whatever that is just to show that she can.
<< She isn't really a fan of overly clean-cut men. She likes her guys to be a little scruffy. To her, a little scruffiness makes it seem like the guy isn't afraid to get dirty and overly clean cut men definitely come off that way to her.

Hometown: She was born and raised in Mystic, Connecticut though she hasn't lived there for around three years now. She has become a bit of a wanderer and doesn't really call anywhere home. She lives out of motels mostly.
Alliance: She is definitely on the side of good but she sometimes has trouble seeing anything supernatural as good.
Family:
Jacob Grosvenor: Jacob is Jordan's father. He has hair that is just a shade darker than his daughter's and dark blue eyes. He is fairly tall and stands around 6'2" and has a rather muscular build. Like pretty much everyone else in her family, he is a hunter and has been for many generations. He taught Jordan everything that she knows and she is definitely thankful for it. He is a bit more ruthless than his daughter is and doesn't always see a difference between good and evil if the supernatural is involved. It is just all evil to him.
Josephine Grosvenor: Josephine is Jordan's mother. She has short brown hair that hangs to her chin and bright blue eyes. She is a little bit on the short side and stands at 5'3" with a small frame. She is not a hunter herself, but being the wife of one she has definitely picked up some things over the years. She was the daughter of a hunter as well. She is a kind woman who would do pretty much anything for her family. Jordan gets along with her really well though she doesn't always tell her mother what is going on in her life. Her mother is the only person that she allows to call her Celeste still.
Jonathan Grosvenor: Jonathon was Jordan's older brother. He had brown hair and crystal blue eyes when he was alive. He had been around 5'11" and muscular though he probably would have broken 6' if he hadn't died. He had been a hunter as well and when a hunt went south, he had ended up dead. Jordan loved her brother a lot and really looked up to him. She was crushed when he was killed and it took her a little bit to recover from it.
History: To really even begin to talk about the Grosvenor clan, you have to go back many generations. Prior to the Medieval Inquisition, they were just a normal family really. They were lower class citizens that worked hard everyday of their lives. There was nothing really spectacular about them until the Inquisition. It was at that time that the first Grosvenor hunter was born so to speak. Louis Grosvenor had chosen to become a man of the cloth and when the Church began searching for heretics, they found a lot more than they had bargained for. Louis seemed to have a knack in hunting and tracking things that were supposed to only be legend... demons. From that day forward, hunting was in the blood.

For generations, every male in the Grosvenor line became a hunter. The knowledge that was collected was passed down from generation to generation and has been compared to a book of shadows, though they would all claim that the comparison was completely wrong. It was more like a record of the creatures that they encountered, how they hunted, where it had occurred, and how they had managed to defeat the creatures. See, nothing like a book of shadows at all...

Instead of going through the many centuries of hunters that have come out of the Grosvenor line, let's just focus on the current ones. Jacob Grosvenor was the eldest of three boys, Mike being the middle son and Peter being the youngest. All three followed in their father's footsteps like expected and of course all excelled at it. When Jacob was around twenty years old, he met the daughter of a fellow hunter that was friends with his dad. He was instantly smitten with the girl and spent a lot of time wooing Josephine. Josephine however wanted nothing to do with him for awhile simply because he was a hunter.

She tried her best to ignore him but she eventually gave in and went on a date with him. That one date turned into twenty and it just snowballed from there. Next thing she knew, he was proposing to her and she was happily accepting. She knew what life would be like married to a hunter since she had seen her mother go through it, but she was willing to try nonetheless.

They had been married about a year when she became pregnant with their son, Jonathan. For the first few years of his life, Josephine raised him almost completely by herself. Jacob was home when he could be but more often than not he was out on a hunt. Shortly after Jonathan turned six though, his baby sister was born. Celeste was a bit of an accident to be honest. Neither Jacob nor Josephine had really wanted another kid and though they had both taken precautions, there she was.

Celeste got along really well with her brother from the start. Jonathan was really protective of his baby sister and did his best not to let anything happen to her. Occasionally as the two children got older, Jacob would take them along on hunts with him. He was training Jonathan to be able to follow in his footsteps some day and as for Celeste, well it seemed that neither Jonathan or Celeste were really happy unless they were around each other.

As the years passed, Celeste began to pick up some of the tips and tricks that her father was teaching Jonathan and she became really interested in learning about the supernatural stuff. When she was around eight years old, she started to notice that she got a weird tingling feeling whenever she was around magick though it wasn't until she was around ten years old that anyone realized that she was what some people called a sensitive. She was sensitive to the fact that people were using magick though there was nothing that she could really do with that talent.

When she was twelve years old, Jonathan was leading his first hunt... well his dad was there as well but everything was basically Jonathan's call. He had been tracking a demon named Julian and eventually tracked him down. Somehow word had gotten out though that they were closing in on the demon and he decided to find them first. While their dad was out getting some food for them, Julian attacked Jonathan. Her brother didn't even really stand a chance without their dad there and a young Celeste had to watch the entire gruesome scene.

Julian knew that she had seen everything, but for some reason he chose to let her live. It could have been the fact that she was completely harmless and couldn't do anything to him. It could have been the fact that she has the most startlingly blue eyes ever and he saw something in her that made him not want to kill her. Or it could have just been some weird thing that he decided to do on a whim. Whatever the reason, Celeste was left alone with what was left of her brother when her father returned.

She was absolutely crushed after Jonathan's death and completely withdrew into herself for a few months in mourning. She barely ate, she barely spoke, and it was really rare for her to be seen outside of her room. During that time though, her hatred of the demon that killed her brother grew and she made a decision that would change her life. She wanted to become a hunter so that she could someday track Julian down and kill him. It took another few months to convince her dad to begin training her, but she eventually wore him down. It helped that her cousin Sofia had also succeeded in convincing her father, Peter, to train her as well so it wasn't like she was going to be the only female hunter in the family.

The next three years sort of went by in a blur for her. She learned judo and kenpo, how to fight with blades, all the supernatural stuff that her father could teach her, and she even began to go by her middle name instead of her first. She just really didn't feel that the name Celeste fit her new lifestyle at all. By the time that she was sixteen, she had a bit of a disagreement with her father on a hunt. They had come across some witches while hunting a demon and they had disagreed on what to do about them. Jacob believed that all things supernatural were evil so he killed them. Jordan did not believe that they deserved to be killed since they hadn't done anything wrong. They got into a huge argument and then went their separate ways. Jordan has been hunting on her own for the most part since that day, though she does still contact her parents from time to time.

She is now nineteen years old and finally feels like she is ready to go after the demon that killed her brother. She has tracked him to Chicago and has now settled in there so she can find him. She doesn't really know what is in store for her in the Windy City, but she can't help but notice the fact that it is sort of a mecca for the supernatural. She has yet to hear that Julian has become the Source of All Evil, but even that won't deter her from trying to seek vengeance.
