The Rules, :: galactic guidelines ::

General Rules

- Respect - Please respect all members, also listen to the staff. If you have a problem, take it up in the PM system by messaging one of us.
- Decency - Please do not say or submit any offensive materials on this site. This includes, but is not limited to, all discriminations, sexual content, rude comments, etc.
- Spam - Please keep all spam and unnecessary materials in the appropriate sections. They're there for a reason.
- Cursing - While it is allowed, please do not use it in any excessive or extreme manner.
- InvisionFree - Any other rules to follow will fall under the InvisionFree rules or policies. Any vialators will be reported to them.

User Accounts

- Name - Please use the first and last name of your original, main character that you will be using.
- Avatars - There is a 100x100 pixel avatar size limit.
- Signatures - There is a 500x150 pixel limit on the size of your signature. If it exceeds, please use a code for the scrolling signatures, such as this:

And though it is not required, it is also nice to have a link to one's profile within the signature.

Role-Playing

- Original Characters - There is a character list or playable and nonplayable characters. Original characters are encouraged
- Canon Characters - We allow canon characters from this time period. However, we only accept more advanced roleplayers and those with the time for it for the canons. Likely, they may not play as large a part as they do in the movies, as this is an alternate universe, so keep that in mind.
- Number of Characters - You will have a main character, and then you are allowed to have other characters on the same account. Please, don't go overboard though, and try not to have more players than you will keep up with or be using.
- Applications - Please use the application template for you profiles. Follow the guidelines posted along with it. You cannot roleplay until you have been approved by an admin. Also, if you have a canon, please do not use Wookieepedia/Wiki or anything else. Please make it your own words. It will not be approved otherwise.
The secret code is as following: 'I have a bad feeling about this.'
- Literacy - This is an advanced roleplaying board. There will be a two paragraph, 100 word minimum on your posts. If you cannot do so, quite frankly, please do not join. We want quality AND quantity, by the way.
- Tense - Please put your posts in third person and in past tense. This is the 'correct' way to roleplay, and we'd like the board to be consistent.
- God-Modding - This happens way too much, and it will not be tolerated here. You may even receive a warning for this if it's excessive.
- Jedi - Concerning age, please keep in mind that when Anakin came in at the age of 9, that was an extreme rarity, just because he was too old to come into the Temple. If you have a Jedi, please have them starting out at a really young age so it's realistic. We don't want 20-somethings coming in and becoming masters in a matter of years.
- Cortosis - At this time in the Galaxy, cortosis is not something that's easy to come by. As of now (17 Aug) there will be no more allowances for swords or daggers or anything else with cortosis weave.
- Maturity - We ask that you please keep the maturity of the board to the PG-13 setting that is seen in the Star Wars movies. For example, cursing is not overdone and sex is not seen. If the latter is to happen, please go into a fade-out.
- Pregnancy and Death - We don't want pregnancy to be an overdone thing either, not that I expect it to be. And there will be absolutely NO deaths without the permission and prior planning of the to-be-deceased party.
- Time Passing One year equals two months.
- Time Frame - This is set in 31 BBY, that is around the time right after The Phantom Menace in the films. Please keep all ships, weapons, and other technology to the time frame of the era around the Clone Wars.

Last, I would like you all to go out there and have fun! All these rules are rather common sense, and I don't want to feel like I'm holding you guys back. Have lots of fun, meet new people, cause a bunch of drama, and join a side!!
