Appearance Description: Arianno is of strong Italian stock and takes his appearance quite seriously. Of an average height and an healthy weight, Arianno can seem to be obsessed with fitness to the casual observer, but his lifestyle is mostly just a continuation of his life in Italy. He walks or runs just about everywhere, the side effect leaving him quite lean

Fullbring: The King's Man
Focus: A grey rook piece of average size from western style chess. It is made of pewter and is etched with the kanjii for Dragon King (a promoted rook in Shogi.)
Fullbring Appearance: When activated, The King's Man transforms the rook into a steel cuirass emblazoned a red/black chessboard pattern and a stylized rook in the middle of the chest. Additionally a bevor (a lower face and neck guard), a pair of vambraces (lower arm guards), and greaves manifest, each also with the chessboard pattern.
A1 to A8: The primary power of The King's Man that acts passively at all times during the Fullbring's activation. This ability vastly increases Tsutomo's defense and speed so greatly that he has taken the title Empyrean Shield. While his defense isn't so massive that he can stand still and take a level 99 Kido at point blank, the combination of speed and defense allows him to perry and deflect attacks that would often otherwise be incredibly dangerous.
Philidor Position : Tsutomo is not a defensive specialist, he is a protective specialist. As such he takes very little heed to his own safety over the safety of whomever he is guarding. This is where Saving Grave comes into play. Tsutomo makes a bond with a single individual and gains a sort of empathetic tie with them. As soon as that individual is threatened, Tsutomo is notified. While it doesn't appear at first to be much of a power, it allows Tsutomo to sense and respond danger not only from his point of view but of that of the bonded individual, increasing his ability to react and defend his bonded target almost as if he were an extension of the target's body.
Castling : Another protection focused ability. This again only affects himself and the one whom he is bonded to and is part of the Saving Grace pact. If at any time the person whom he is bonded to receives a blow that is undoubtedly and absolutely fatal, Tsutomo instead receives all effects of the fatal blow. If the bonded target is killed by a weapon, he or she is left unharmed by the attack and Tsutomo is instantly affected by the attack instead. If a spell or Cero kills that target, the attack seemingly is absorbed by the target only for its effects to manifest upon Tsutomo. In effect, this is an absolute sacrifice technique and thus a one time power.
Lucena Position This is Tsutomo's one offensive ability beyond hand to hand fighting. This ability combines his great velocity and the hardness of his defense into an incredibly powerful single strike. His vambraces and greaves disappear, causing his bevor to extend into a full helm (covering and protecting his head at this the high speed) and manifesting a single ultra dense gauntlet. Moving at speeds comparable to some of the top ranking speed specialists, Tsutomo's punch breaks the sound barrier. In terms of sheer physical power, this attack does not come close to those of some of the greatest physical powerhouses around, however the strike is incredibly focused allowing not only immense damage at the central point of the blow and is capable of punching throw a Barrier up to level 65.
Strengths: Tsutomo is a body guard par excellence and an overall spectacular defense specialist. Against slow moving tanks he is nearly untouchable, against high speed hit-and-run types he is a parrying fiend, if Tsutomo fought absolutely on the defensive it would take some serious work to get a scratch on him. Furthermore, as a protector rather than a defender, he uses his abilities to provide cover to more offensive partners and allow them to dish out damage while he keeps injuries to a minimum.
