Next season at my club a new kind of competition will be introduced, next to our traditional cupleague. This time it will be possibly to adjust your list according to the army one faces. In addition and contrary to our cupleague, loosing automaticly means eliminated.

Now as I've stated in one of my other posts I do not change my list quite too often. I just like playing with a balanced list able to stand against the majority of armies. This way I have to draw more on strategic insights.

Nevertheless from time to time I like to go nuts, and with this new competition there are opportunities :w00t: . So here is my question. Have any of you ever played a Lahmia lord on a dragon in a 2K list? Does it work? How should I kit her out?

As for her kit; hmm maybe wristbands, cursed book, sword of might?

I shall report in due time. Our next season starts in August. So patience is required. :) Anyway I thank you for the reply.
Though I do not now about the wristband isn't that a simular item like our bloodline power (5+save)? The cursed book I've been considering. However I was more thinking of a mounted wraith with book. He willnot keep up with the dragon. But I would use him in combintaion with my other troops.

Oh, this is how I normally kit my countess: beguile, sword of might, Innocense lost, Quickblood, level 2 magic, spell familiar.

If you want to go really crazy, give her the asp bow...

well hell, you are already taking a Lady and putting her on a dragon in a 2K list.. might as well go the whole hog! :P

But on the dragon, you are going to be able to see pretty much every unit and character your opponent has on the field, and it won't be hard to get into 24" range to use the bow to pick something important out. This would be one of the only times I would ever consider taking the asp bow.

And definitely the wristbands of black gold. On the dragon, your Lady will become a target for shooting. You will do well to have the 3+ save against missle fire.

Again, being on a dragon, I would also consider how something like the talon of death would fare. You will be on a large base after all....

Thanks for he great ideas :D Maybe I can give my Lady the following kit: Talon of Death, Biting blade, Innocence lost, Wristband.

Considering the asp bow, I cannot see to fit it in. What else should I give my Lady then?
