Hello my fellow Lahmian vampires. I have been summoned to the Silver Pinnacle. In my absence, Darknesseternal will speak for Nefereta and the rest of the Lahmians in the Keep.
Lady Cyrandris Beowulf, Lahmian Councilor.
(aka Preacher)
Party time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WooooooooooHooooooooo!!!!! :w00t:
Ok, seriously though, apologies for the late response. Just been busy keeping the old castle clean, keeping the cattle in order (damn humans!), and plotting and strategising the return of our Great Queen. :D
Moreso, being thinking about the upcoming campaign... did we decide yet whether we give the dawi ambassador a rusty fork or a blunt spoon in his battle against the Chaos pleb when we lock them in a cage so we can see who is left to talk to about their proposals of an alliance?? :P
Ok, seriously again, been thinking about how to get excited, which I will hope to lead to actually getting involved, in the upcoming nemisis campaign. I bought the WD issue that had the supplement thingy about the nemisis campaign, took a look at it, and promptly went 'ho-hum'. I mean, one of the first things that you read when it comes to the VC in the nemisis campaign is that Mannfred is dead. Never liked him myself, should be the Great Queen leading us and keeping the rest of you lot in line, but that aside, what is meant to make me or inspire me to go running off and join in with the nemisis campaign when we know nothing of this Walkadir guy, except he apparently was able to bend the rest of us Undead to easily to his will??! When you have set up five distinct bloodlines, all with their own leaders and history, it is hardly inspiring to then hear that some other guy has flown in and taken control and is leading us all now.. ha!
That said, I guess it can be looked at in the way that the nemisis campaign can be used as a way to send a message to GW that we don't enjoy the way they mess around with the VC and treat us like an afterthought.. perhaps a fluff alliance with the Dawi will provide an opportunity to send the message needed.. perhaps the sisterhood can put aside our dislike for the short people to improve our position.. it is not natural for the various bloodlines of the vampire counts to co-exist, but perhaps now is the time to put differences aside, maybe only temporarily, to try to achieve an improvement in our position.. I would be interested to hear the opinions of the rest of the sisterhood and the other lords and ladies and necromancers of the night...
Well I am back. Looks like its been pretty quiet around here while I was away.
*Looks up in surprise, trying to hide the blood dripping down her face as she pushes the door closed behind her*
Virgins? What young virgins? I don't see any young virgins. Behind the door? What door? I don't know what you are talking about?!
Those? Yes I know it looks like maps of Brettonnia with notes and plans for usurping the royal courts of Bastonne and Gisoreux, but they're not mine. One of the servants must have left them behind
Welcome back. It has been quiet around here, quiet as the dead. ;)
Welcome back to these halls most noble lady Cyrandris, we have sorely missed you.
