Hi,

I thought you all might be interested in this. As there were some unanswered questions with the change to the 8th edition, we compiled them and requested a FAQ from the Direwolf Council (they will also be sent to GW, but who knows if they will ever respond!).

They have responded and provided us a great FAQ that I thought might benefit your members as well. Carpe Noctem has decided to officially support, though of course whatever you decide is up to you.

You can find the FAQ here:

Cheers

I cannot believe there are people out there that actually need to ask some of those questions.

I'm in the same boat with you Preacher...especially the Red Fury deal, that's just stupid.

Yes we thought so too in some instances, there are some people who will try to get away with anything.

One of our members was not impressed when his opponent tried claiming he could make him roll the BC dice before the PD pool was rolled blink.gif

Still, some of the other questions were valid and it was nice to get a clear answer that the majority of players will agree to follow.

It is better to be painfully obvious than not giving an answerl. Let us remember there are new players joining warhammer every day so it is not strange to see these questions at all. Infact, I am sure most of us can relate to seeing pretty silly questions in our days. It is worth remembering while you, or me, might be knowledgable in the game mechanics of warhammer there are people who, for various reasons, end up playing with the wrong interpretation. Then there is the language barriers and I am not speaking just about those who does not know english well enough but of army books being translated giving out a slightly different meaning due a failure in the translation process.

So despite those questions being obvious, to my eyes, I much rather have an excessive amount of FAQs/Erratas than a bunch of unanswered issues...
