How do folks, been ages since i was last here but figured it was high time i get back to my undead roots. A combination of the new VC book, the fantastic skellies and wanting a change from power armour are pretty much the reason Im back.
Its an idea that iv been floating a about in my head for a while, money and time pending it will bear fruit on the table top soon. The concept I want to go for is a cruel and twisted soul that is trapped in a body who rages against the master he is compelled to serve. Free cookie to those who can clock where the name Keldor comes from. This is very wip at the moment, just looking for genral feedback on it just now. Will flesh it out in time. I am kind of stuck where I would like Keldor to start his career in imfamy from. Im stuck between some kind of serial killing grave robber (think burke and hare) or a frustrated amythst wizard seeking to increase his power... Ideas and sugestions most welcome, Anyhoo with out much further ado, I give you Keldor the Caged Keldor the Caged The archfiend that is Keldor the Caged is renowned throughout the Old World as a being of pure evil. His sadistic cruelty has become legend. Even the oldest most hard-bitten of the Empire’s soldiers dare not mention his name less this creature’s attention be drawn in their direction. The origins of Keldor are shrouded in supposition and here-say. However for the most sources agree that before he rose to notoriety Keldor was obsessed with immortality, an obsession that led him into an apprenticeship for a powerful vampire. It is believed that during this apprenticeship Keldor’s master tricked him into transferring his soul to a terrible golden frame by claiming it would grant Keldor the power that he sought. And grant him power it did, Keldor was stronger, faster and was able to wield his magic with much greater ease than he had before. However there was a catch, for there was no way Keldor’s master would let him have such power without restraint. Keldor’s new body was engraved with powerful runes that bound his will eternally to the whims of his vampiric lord. |
