Has any one taken any of the named characters in the new book in a game?If so are there any favourite's? or any combos that work well?

Must admit that I don't use the named characters. Prefer to create my own story.
But if I had to take one then Count Manfred Von Carstein would be my choice. An excellent wizard with loremaster on both death and vampires, decent in combat with reasonable protection. And at about the same cost as my tricked out combat lord. |

From this book no. But from the 7th edition book I used Konrad a few times. Sorry wait I did use the new krell in a friendly game. I believe the skull taker killed him.
Seriously looked at using vlad a few times now. |

Yeah, I liked Konrad from the old book,never used Manfred though,I will read up on him.I think Vlad is still such a powerful character despite his vast point cost.I'm playing in a small tournament where you can bring named characters(2400points) Shame its not 3000 points,would be interesting to field Konrad and Vlad side by side!
