What is the minimum range guess for an ironblaster? OK opponent last night claims that he can say zero and have it bounce straight out of the cannon as I was 8 inches away with my BK bus. We looked everywhere for this but we couldn't find it.

Also when ANY cannon (including the ironblaster) shoots and fails to wound on a one - does the cannon ball carry through to the next model in line as I always thought it stopped at that first modle if it didn't wound? Again not clear or mentioned in the book so apparently it "goes through the first person as if they are ethereal" and then hits the second person. Which I thought was tosh!

Only a maximum range is specified so a initial aim point directly in front of the barrel is legal. Mind you if you were within 8" I'd be using grapeshot. Potentially 10 S5 AP hits.

Only stops if it fails to wound a montrous creature, so MI, MB, MC and monsters.

Seems that the chap was right. However this begs the question about mounted characters with multiple wounds in mounted units. As a lord character would have at least 3 wounds and if he saved the cannon ball wounds this would still travel to the next model? I guess he would would just duck or parry it away (yeah my Lord is really hard as nails) to an unfortunate behind him.

Yes it would provided the character is not mounted on a monster or montrous beast.
