The problem would be to explain those rules, GW has other things to spend time on, they have to make money, not some special characters which wouldn't sell really much.

The Strigoi definately seem to be shy beasts that try to avoide fighting. ONly when cornered do they become extremely dangerous.
THe Strigoi Vampire in the story in the book realised that he was confronting an equal if not a better...therefore he tried to get to the one place where he would be safe from him and when he realised the opponents weakness he simply magicked him to death. Ver styleful!
