I use the mordheim vampire assasin as Lahmian countess, backed by two ghastly damsels of bretonnia starring as necros. This since my army has a strong tie to empire.

What do you use? The Lahmian models from GW are kind of lahme in my opinion.

I can never settle on a countess model, always making new ones...my lates was the mordheim assassain woman with lucrezia Belladonas head and an imperial weapon to fit with my theme. However i grow ever so bored of th is miniature and am considering neferata body up to just past the breasts (heheh...im so immature) and from there up a damsel's head and green stuff arms, going casually-almost innocently- behind her back. Will paint her like Amelia, from Underworld.

I use some of the female Reaper minatures. I actually don't mind the standard Lahmain models either.

IF your vamps are that extensively converted, youll just have to get a camera and show them to us, theres no other option.. Telling and not showing creates frustration and we cant have that.

Well I'll post it asap using my brothers phone (so it wont be a very good photo i shouldnt think...) im going to rebase her soon so shes on a standard, unpainted base...but will try to get the photos up soon.
I dont claim to be a great painter! But the quality suffices for battles and keeps me happy so thats good enough.
Any advice the way to do the base? im thinking of redoing my army anyway, most of its pretty shoddily panited and lots r broken...havent used vamp. counts in a while and recently got back into them.

*EDIT* My brother cant find the cable. Im really annoyed now, caus i wanna show u Madeline...
Shes painted in a red dress, her skin is pale (!) but not vampirically so. Her underclothes are white and her hair brown. She looks remarkabley Imperial, which is the idea.

*EDIT 2* The minute my bro finds his cable thingy ill post the picture of her and of my other vamps if you like.

It will be good to see Madeline once you can get a pic of her smile.gif

Though I am in the same boat, I don't have a digital cam yet, and use a very outdated pc (orginal pentium 200), so cannot yet post any pics of my own army.

I use the standard GW figures for my thralls and countess, I don't find them that bad really. Give them a paint scheme to your liking and they can end up looking quite good! The main thing about them that i'd change has been discussed before on here I believe. Their expressions are kind of 'ratty'. I guess it is good for giving them a ferocious ferel look, but for me anyways, Lahmians are always meant to be about exceptional beauty, which the GW figures lack a little. If i had any conversion talent, I'd try converting my own for my countess (she is based on a character out of a series of books I've been reading for about 12 months now, the character in the book feeds not only on blood, but also on lust, what is refered to as the ardeur in the books. She is described in such a way that it makes you think of sex incarnate, if you know what i mean. I thought very appropiate to Lahmians, but I'm very wary in writing my own history for her and my army to steer away from the character in the book as much as I can. I'd like to use the character as inspiration only).

I use Reaper minitures for my two necros, but will soon have to paint up a couple of brettonian damsels to use as necro's for the tourneys where you can take only GW minitures.

Does anyone have any pics of the mordheim vampire assassin figure? Just curious as to what it looks like? I saw the mordheim figure that is used as a female vamp in the latest WD for the zombie pirates, but I don't really like it to be honest. I dunno, just something about it doesn't sit well with me.

One day soon I'll grab the Neferata figure, it could be a bit better but I think they did a pretty good job with it.
