Yo man, I'm from Israel and I'm a die-hard Borat fan.
Borat is very popular in Israel, both by the public and by the officials. TV News always make reports about him and compliment his great humour.

actually you're right. I mistook an article I read that the ADL had a problem with the Borat character but I just read their statememnt on Borat and it was suprisingly supporting

Anyway, on a separate matter (in response to AC's comments), the Anti-Defamation League did take issue with the Borat Movie thinking we can't figure out it's all a big joke.
