This may all seem a bit abrupt, and more than a tad presumptuous, but bear with me. I swear I'll be pithy and at the very least you can waste some time, procrastinate, by reading the quasi-ramblings of someone who made a puppet nation, got your telegram, then decided to check out your region.
First off, is there some sort of silly process I need to go through for becoming a 'real' citizen of this place? I mean, it certainly doesn't look like it but... Heh. Don't really know, you know? If there is an 'oath of secrecy and BAMFness' I need to take, so be it. Equally, if someone needs a run down on my past lives on NS, I could do that. I just put this here because I'm an immigrant... Yeah...
Secondly, I'd love to help out with your recruiting.. And/or work in some official capacity. It's summer, I only have a few hours of classes and the woman can't take that much of my time... So, I'd love to participate. Just, someone, somewhere give me a bit of direction 'cause I'm just plain confused at the moment...

Giving me a chance to pontificate? Ah, you speak to my heart! But no, I'll refrain. Trust me when I say I am not at all into most of 'your' bit of NS. I have done a bit of this, a bit of that but mostly I have entertained myself with friends that usually have little to do with... Well, anyone. At least, anyone outside my insular circle. I've founded a region, did some work over at Europeia, a member of A Modern World... But, seriously, I stay out of the limelight. Real life, it seems, has a way of sneaking up and putting a kibosh on any serious NationStates playing time.
The guide seems more than adequate. Perhaps you could replace the abbreviations with the full name, if someone was at all new to this they'd could be a bit put out by deciphering the MoI or TRR; though, maybe, that's just my nitpicky side coming out.

The recruiting process, in sticking to the guidelines provided, does seem a bit... Time consuming. Nevertheless, 30-some Lazarus individuals will be receiving a slightly altered version of the recruiting message pinned to the top.
