Specklepelt finally made it to the old thunderpath. He slowly put a paw on some of it a rush of excitement going through his pelt. I can't belive monsters used to travel this path. He thought. Though many considered this crazy he had an unhealthy fascination with twolegs. He knew enough to know Kittypets would leave if they meant to all be evil. They weren't like fighting a badger or fox. That doesn't mean I would live with one to save my life. I'm not that moused-brained. He told himself. He sat there starring into the distance.

Littlefoot watched from the safety of the bushes, pale green eyes trained on his clan mate. What was Specklepelt doing here? Alone no less. The young warrior had slipped away himself for a breath of fresh air. Having those two RiverClan cats in camp made him relive the moment of his father's death over and over again. The pain had been too much.
Deciding that he could either wait in the bushes all day or confront the dusty calico, Littlefoot stepped out into the open. "Needed air to clear the stench of fish from your nose as well?" the cream and brown tom asked coolly.

Specklepelt Jumped at the voice. He had been so entranced in thinking of the way things were that he hadn't noticed the scent of his own clanmate. Littlefoot had seen him. "Ummm..... Well it was a little much. I don't like others in the camp.... I like this place fine though. What brings you here? I haven't seen much prey." Specklepelt said slowly. He knew that the other cat would probably condem him for being interested in twolegs. Then thinking over how he said he liked this part of the territory. Why did I say that Littlefoot isn't a mouse-brain as far as I can tell. He'll figure it out and tell the clan. But Specklepelt didn't say anything. There was still the chance that might not happen.
