This is like "randomness" on a certain other unnamed site *coughamaranthcough*. Just post whatever you feel like. I'll start.
So, I'm the poetry editor for my school's lit. magazine, which would be v. awesome b/c 1) lit mags are awesome, and 2) poetry is awesome. However, ALL OF THE POETRY WE'VE BEEN SENT SUCKS.
It's all about either college or death. And while a few poems about college and death are good, it's really really depressing to have to read 347596090 poems about it.
Plus, I can't agree with my co-editor over what makes a good poem, and it's frustrating, b/c I'm an auditory person, so I like poems that sound good when read (good? really?) but my co-e likes poems that *mean* something, and because this is highschool, there aren't too many poems that fit both of those categories...
God, that was ranty for a randomness thread. That's kind of a bad omen for the rest of this. I'll post a ninja to make it better:
