Keep Hijinks and General Tomfoolery, waaarp!

"Oh stop being a badass, Chris," Robin said, rolling his eyes. "You're scarier on the street when you mean something. She knows she's going to be all right in the Keep. Besides, you don't have a grudge against her...yet."

To Raz he added "And even if he has a grudge, it doesn't keep him away long. Trust me, I know."

Raz nodded, for once speechless and overwhelmed. "Alright. I mean...I don't need much more then a bed and a bathroom." she said, nodding a few times while her gaze switched between Robin and Chris.

"Right," Robin shrugged. "Come on in then. You can get your stuff later. Rules...." He looked up, thinking. "No drugs. Try and clear out during the day. Clean up what you spill. And you're on your own for food."

Chris felt bad for the girl. This was strange, as Chris was usually pretty indifferent to anyone he had known for less than seven or eight years. There was just something about her that reminded him of Marl, or, at least, the better parts of Marl. Chris was intrigued by this resemblance, or, rather, mildly interested, and so, before he could give it a second thought, his mouth opened and words started coming out.

"Or," he said to Raz, "You could just stay with me. I don't have any rules, really, and you'd get a room, as long as you didn't bother anyone. Plus, it's not far from the Apple."

Chris recognized the boy as the one who worked there, and so he thought it might be extra incentive for hr to be close to her boyfriend. Besides, he really wanted the girl to stay with him, partly because of Marl and his curiosity, but mostly because it was precisely what Dana didn't want.

Raz cheered up slightly. Near the Apple seemed better to her, especially because it was closer to the artistic district and not quite so much in the slums of the city. Plus, she was no stuck up, but she did prefer to have a nice house and something slightly more then just a bed and a bath.

She glanced between Robin, Chris, and Zak for a second before she nodded to Chris energetically, then cheerily said "Sure, that sounds great" with a grin at him.

Robin flicked up an eyebrow at Chris. "Since when do you offer to run a hotel?" he asked. "For free."

Chris qickly shot Dana his "ifyoureallywanttoknowwecantalklater" look, but said, indignantly, "What? I can't do something nice? It's not like it'll cost me anything for her to hang around."

Realizing how out of character it was for him to do something nice, he added, "Besides, you don't have any room in this dump and you know it. If I take her off your hands, maybe you'll do something for me. You know, like maybe letting my activities slide and NOT INTERFERING with my Legitimate Business Affairs?"

Raz glanced back and forth between the two boys, a confused expression on her face. She glanced at Zak, checking his expression curiously, then went back to watching the argument, raising her eyebrows in amusement.
