There has never been true peace between the angels and the demons. But all of this time there has never been bloodshed between the two. Then a demon travels to earth with orders from his master to kill the most religious figure on earth. This man was also the voice of god. The gods found out about this plan and sent their best warrior to protect the man. After several days of battling both the angel and the demon were killed. The religious figure was also killed in the battle. Both sides blame the other for this catastrophe. Angry, they declare war on the other race. So, a horrible battle begins on Earth. As things heat up the two enemies turn to earth as their battlefield. Earth then becomes nothing but a place of death and the human race is near extinction. Those that didn't die in the battle are forced to choose sides and are put against demons and angels in what will probably be their eternal downfall. Will the war ever end? And if it shall, how will the human race rebuild the place they once knew of peace and love. Welcome to The Gates Of Hell the board is new and we ask that you be patient while it grows. |

Kael carefully walked through the morgue. She had never been in one before and wondered what it would be like to work or explore one.

While Kael was walking around the morgue outside the ground had cracked and several small demons appeared some with swords others with spears. They gathered in a small group as they awaited their general. After a few moments a large demon emerged with charcoaled skin and a bright flame engulfing his body. The general pointed towards the building as the smaller demons ran inside to seek the chained angel.

Kael looked over the equipment and other objects that had been left. Once or twice she found a body still secaying, but the smell was very faint and the sight wasn't all that grotesque, well at least to her.

Once inside the larger demon pointed in two directions. The smaller demons split into groups of four and went down the appointed ways. The general drew his sword which was made of a rare material. It was ash metal. The strongest material known in the unnatural universe. It was completeley black with a dull shine to it. On the blade itself were carvings that seemed to have little flames within to brighten the glow. He headed down the third hall towards the freezer section.

Kael stopped moving suddenly, hearing noises that had not been present earlier in the ghostly morgue. Kael looked around, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from so that she could go away from it. In the end, she found the door which seemed to be her only chance to get away.

At the end of the dark hall a clicking noise could be heard as it seemed to get closer in the faint lights all that could be seen was shadow like movements. "We've come for you!" A voice whispered as the blade hit the side of the wall once more.

By the time she turned to run the other demons began showing themselves blocking all obvious paths. "You can't run!" The voice whispered once more.

Kael refused to give up. She slowed the time just enough so that she moved freely, but they were moving a lot slower than she was. When she got past a majority of them, she released the time, returning it to normal.

Amused the larger demon slammed his sword against the wall knocking every light out in the building. From the shadows movments could be seen as more demons arose from hell with a little burst of fire every couple of seconds. "Theres no where to run!" The voice echo'd down the halls of the building.

"Like hell there isn't." She snarled and continued to run. She moved anything that was in her way, not caring if it slammed into anybody else or if she was moving someone else out of her way.

As more and more demons arose from the floor they eventually gathered at the end of all the halls out numbering Kael 100 to 1. The dmon general then walked forward and awaited Kael's last corner before she would be trapped in by the demon walls.

Kael could feel the presence of the demons as she rounded the last corner. She slid on the floor, trying to turn around but failing.
