Due to some series totally finishing on japanese tv there are a bunch of new ones now. A good place to find new anime info is here you can also check out some screen shots there. (by clickin the name on the right column) The new weekly ones im looking forward to are: Black Cat Aria Shakugan no Shana Blood+ Jigoku Shoujo Mai Otome Kamichu Amaenaideyo More specificly Blood+ and Black Cat are looking really good. Watched episode 1 of Black Cat and it is interesting, a mix between action and comedy and seems like an interesting story. Blood+ is really good, watched ep 1 of it aswell. Its a horror anime with alot of blood. Its kinda about vampires from what I see so far but the vampires are beasts. Anyone watching these to? And whatcha think?

I'm watching Black Cat and Blood+ as well. Both of them are really good. Blood+ is actually a continuation of the movie Blood: The Last Vampire. I've wanted to watch Jigoku Shoujo but the torrent isn't letting me download. Something about my port being blacklisted. I'm also watching Paradise Kiss (I love the intro song) and Cluster Edge (though, it seems kinda shounen-ai-ish). Paradise Kiss is cool, nice style. And Cluster Edge is... well... I'm waiting for more of this before giving an opinion, because it looks just regular.

I should have figured Blood+ was a continuation.. Girl with sword, lots of blood. Its pretty similar. Should be interesting to see what they do with it. As for Cluster Edge... ack.. I wouldnt even consider downloading that after hearing what I have about it. Its not only shounen, but sounds yaoi.. No thanks. Someone said one guy looks at another guy and there are sparkles.. lol.. Thats not supposed to happen! Not my kinda anime. The other animes are really good tho. And another new favorite is Solty Rei. In a way it reminds me of Heat Guy J, which I also liked. But the animation is more colorful. Its in the same type of environment, with cyborgs in the future etc. For Jigoku Shoujo try this new link they added. Works fine for me. http://anime.depthstrike.com/ayu/torrent.p...%5D.avi.torrent

egh, still tells me I'm blacklisted.
Yeah, the sparkles thing was weird, which is the thing that made most people think it'll be shounen-ai. Plus the fact that a lot of the guys look like girls.

So, the spring is bringing us a bunch of new animes... a few of the ones I'm looking forward to are:
Strawberry Panic: Yuri = *thumbs up*
Makai Senki Disgaea: From the game, it looks funny and like it has a lot of action.
xxxHolic: I love this manga from CLAMP, and I liked the movie they had not too long ago, so I look forward to the series.
Tsubasa Chronicle Season 2: Liked the first season, liked the movie, so I plan on watching this and seeing how it keeps going.
Shinigami no Ballad: This one's already out, and I'm watching it. From what I understand, it's going to be short. It's not great, but it's not bad.
Ah Megami-sama Season 2: So, Ah My Goddess is coming out with a season two... I'm not sure I'll watch this, I barely made it through season 1...
ARIA Season 2: ARIA is a strange anime... I think the genre they call it is "slice of life". There's no action, not much romance, a little comedy, but overall you're just kinda following the life of the characters. Though I like the animation and the style, not sure I'll get this one... I haven't finished watching the first season yet.
Those are the ones I'm mainly looking at. There are a ton others coming out, and maybe a few of them will catch me by surprise and I'll start watching them.

I'm watching 3 of those series, Black Cat, Blood+, and Mai Otome. Black Cat is pretty good, though the manga is better I think. But the anime is somewhat different, so it works out. It actually goes beyond the manga but it's only the last 6 episodes. Blood+ isn't really a con't from the movie. It's somewhat of an alternate story. Or at least it seems so. It also has some plot elements from Blood: 2001 but I won't mention them here since it's supposedly the big plot twist. I'm not sure, but isn't it supposed to be 50 ep long? I doubt that it's going to end in the next 4 ep. Mai Otome is a fun series, well maybe not for some. If you've seen Mai-Hime then it's pretty much the same sort of thing. If you haven't seen Mai-Hime, then it's ok since it's not a sequel but an alternate universe, but it's the same cast so it's nice to know the story. The first half is ok, but then it gets good at ep 13. Too bad it suffers from the same fate as Mai Hime in that the end is going to be rushed. I'm also waiting Disgaea. I loved the game, and from the promo, the series seems to do the game justice. I want to see Ah My Goddes 2nd season, though I haven't gotten through the first season yet. It's been on my harddrive for a while now. And though it's still far away from now (or maybe not at all) is the rumored third series to Gundam Seed...hey I'm a gundam nut, what can I say...eventhough I didn't like GSD, I still want to see more. I'm not talking about GS: CE73 Star Gazer either, that's just a 45 min oav.
