Here's the render for the human that I turned in. The hair was just me messing around with the fur modifier.

I didn't really finished it, even though I had a week before it was due. You can tell that I neglected from the waist down. I just got tired with this model so I didn't feel like going back to fix the rough spots. The proportion was off, but I totally blame the ref pics that we got. A black and white artist rendering of the muscle anatomy is not a great ref. I toned down the muscles since I want a more realistic look. A few people in my class made dudes that looked like they were over taking horse steroids tounge.gif We also had some weird conversation about nipple sizes, belly buttons, and saggy man breasts...you would have had to been there.

As for my current assignment, I have to create a environment showing signs of community. What I wanted to do was this temple of elements, which has towers for each element. But a few days ago, I finished the rough model for the towers, and it looked so boring. So now I'm attempting to do another temple, but with just water as the theme. But I wanted something that looks (final) fantasy, as in it probably can't be built in real life, but I just can't come up with a design like that. It keeps looking like something from early Renaissance or middle ages. So now I'm trying to come up with a new design, meaning I'm going to fall behind.

But the good news is, though my worked suffered for it, I did beat KH2 last week. Great game. I'm now playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance to tie me over till the next crop of games comes out.
