This new "Kickstart" soda reportedly is made with 5% juice (meaning it's 95% corn syrup, phosphoric acid and other ingredients). But here's where the laughter really begins: According to the FDA, a beverage containing at least 5% juice isn't considered a "soda." It's actually JUICE!

Yep, this means Kickstart can be served to your children in public school, because it's "not soda" according to the agreement between the FDA and the soda industry.

Except, of course, it is 95% soda. But that doesn't count by the FDA's "new math" in which 5 > 95.

PARENTS, YOU ARE FOOLISH IF YOU GIVE THIS TO YOUR KIDS. THEY SHOULDN'T BE DRINKING THESE DRINKS AT ALL, MUCH LESS FOR BREAKFAST!

FDA IS RUN BY CLOWNS WHO HAVE NO REGARD FOR YOUR HEALTH WHATSOEVER! THEY APPROVE THINGS ALL THE TIME THAT ARE DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH, AND YET THEY CALL THEMSELVES A WATCHDOG? WHAT A JOKE! ALL THEY ARE IS A GATEKEEPER FOR THUGS WHO SELL CRAP AND DANGEROUS PRODUCTS. IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING MONEY WITH THESE GUYS. THAT'S ALL THEY CARE ABOUT!

Look at what else the discredited FDA believes:

J9. When does a beverage purport to contain a fruit or vegetable juice?

Answer: Under 21 CFR 101.30(a), a beverage purports to contain fruit or vegetable juice if the product's advertising, label, or labeling, bears the name of, or makes any other direct or indirect representation with respect to any fruit or vegetable juice, or the label or labeling bears any vignette (i.e., depiction of a fruit or vegetable) or another pictorial representation of any fruit or vegetable, or product contains color and flavor that gives the appearance and taste of a fruit or vegetable juice. The beverages may be carbonated or noncarbonated, full strength, diluted, or contain no juice.
