In contravention of constitutional and Charter rights of Canadians and in violation of international law, the current conservative government and prior liberal governments, using 9/11 and the war on terror as an excuse have engaged in the following activities:

1) Participation in an illegal war of aggression in Afghanistan and support of an Afghan government dominated by warlords and druglords

2) Our military�s complicity in the use of torture of Afghan detainees

3) Integration of Canadian and US Military under NORTHCOM

4) Subordination of Canadian foreign policy to the U.S.
Provided military personnel and support for the war in Iraq. Most people don�t realize that the #2 man in Iraq was Canadian Major-General Walt Natynczyk who commanded 35,000 troops in Iraq in 2004.

5) Implemented the Anti-Terrorism Act in violation of our rights. The act is designed to circumvent the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in cases where there is an imminent threat to national security. From the Dominion.ca article �The Roots of Rage�: �Under this legislation, the Canadian government defines terrorism as: �actions that are taken for political, religious or ideological purposes that threaten public or national security,� going further in defining terrorism as an act that �disrupts an essential service, facility of system.� In this context, the concept of �terrorism� can be widely applied, encompassing acts of political dissent or public protest.�

6) Under the Anti-Terrorism Act the government introduced the use of arrests without warrant

7) Implementated the Public Safety Act in violation of our privacy rights. The Public Safety Act imposes many terms that restrict civil liberties. The section dealing with interim orders grants despotic powers to a number of Cabinet Ministers such that at their individual, sole decree without prior Parliamentary oversight, approval or sanction, they can impose the police state. Eight parts of the Bill amend various statutes to provide a new power permitting the responsible Minister to make interim orders in situations where immediate action is required (as he alone determines). For example, the Minister of Health can require mandatory vaccinations and quarantine.

8) The authority to use Security Certificates that authorize detention without trial [which even under the new legislation proposed as Bill C-3 according to] Amnesty International �falls dismally short of what would be required to meet minimal international and constitutional fair trial guarantees�. After being struck down by the Supreme Court as a violation of the Charter of Rights, the government has introduced legislation to get it reinstated.

9) Implementation of a no-fly list (called Specified Person�s List) in direct violation of our Charter of Rights and Freedoms right to travel within our own country. Even the Privacy Commissioner has now stated it violates our privacy rights and should be suspended. For more look at this letter written by a law student.

10) Regional integration under the Security, Prosperity and Partnership of North America (2005) established in secret without the consent of the people that effectively gives control over every aspect of our society to an unelected and unaccountable supranational body headed by corporate CEOs. Canada is represented by the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. When we study the formation of the European Union, we see the exact same pattern emerging for North America, integration by trade agreements and subsequent agreements accomplished by executive agreement and bureaucratic action. 11) Implementation of the 40 point Smart Regulation Action Plan (2005) to �harmonize� Canadian regulations with U.S. regulations, i.e. make Canadian regulations the same as U.S. regulations, which means more deregulation and fewer protections for consumers. (Note: the plan has been removed from the government websites)

12) Proposed use of a biometric national ID card that was stopped due to opposition but has now been reintroduced in a different form - your Homeland Security approved biometric drivers license.

13) Proliferation of the use of CCTV cameras to track every move of the population (look around sometime)

14) The use of agent provocateurs to incite violence at the Montebello SPP Summit in August 2007

15) Government harassment of peaceful activists like Ann Wright and Medea Benjamin of Code Pink who were denied entry into Canada.

As Canadians we find this is a very disturbing list. What we see is a process being implemented incrementally that will over time result in the complete removal of our rights and freedoms. This process is onoing and is in fact accelerating.

And all of it based on the false flag operation of 9/11. We�ve all been duped and the sooner we face up to it the better. If we don�t face it, it will only get worse until we wake up one day in a literal police state run by and for corporate/elitist interests, a society in which everything in our lives are controlled and we are told where and how to live.
