For those that do not know, a chicken fried steak is a tenderized cutlet that is floured and fried like chicken.
Last night for dinner, I had a few pre-made hamburger patties thawed out and decided to chicken fry them. Believe it or not, they were great. Served them with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley with a cream cheese and milk sauce. The MRS is very critical of my cooking. She will tell me straight up if something is good or no good. This got 2 thumbs up. I did find out that if you dredge the patty in flour, then egg wash, then flour, then egg wash, then flour works best for the crust.
