Decided to go bow only this year for deer. Gonna weed out my hoard of guns soon too. I am gonna keep my big rifles and a couple shotguns but everything else is gonna go. I enjoy bow hunting and pistol hunting so much I figure I might as well stick with it and give them critters a fighting chance!!

I see that I am not the only one that thinks you have an advantage. Maybe it is that killer instinct, or maybe all that Govt training, or possibly all those wasted days in the field as a kid. Don't you just wish you could go back and enjoy life as a kid again.

Chad what pistol are you using for hunting. I don't know if they do the same thing in Georgia as here but when you start the academy they hold onto your pistols until you graduate.

They do not take any guns from people down here Charles. Hard to even track who owns what because the state is so relaxed on gun ownership. Concealed carry permits average 3 days to 2 months to get depending on the county.

I hunt with a glock 20 in 10mm and with a magnum research lone eagle in 308 win.

Cool. They are crazy up here with their handgun permits.
