They actually have a bow season in the southern zone...i always went by when the velvet came off the antlers...but thats just me.

Oh yea, and Jake,....I am all for the antler restrictions as well!! NYS has got the potential in its deer herd to be astounding...but to many shoot and then think about things....i used to be one of them many many moons ago. |

I'd love a 3 point on one side restriction. Just imagine what we'd see in 2-3 years. Almost everything would be a 2 1/2 y.o. or better.
