My son has just bought a GSP that is 2 yo. Anyone else have one? Looks like another bird dog to train.

We had a shorthair two years ago.The dog was so full of energy it was tough to control him. Was tough to get him trained to do his "business" outside instead of in the kitchen.Ma wanted no part of him.Would of been a great bird dog if we had enough time to train him properly.I will say this though we gave him to a guy that loves bird dogs and trains them all the time.We get emails back from him every few months.He's shot almost 100 grouse/pheasants over him since the first fall he started training.All it takes is time and patience.He says its the best dog he's ever hunted over.

I have Vizslas. My son's GSP (Hunter) is as laid back as any dog I have ever seen. They are having a blast with him.
