My son and I set up our newest tool in our capturing business on Sunday. On Wednesday, we got a shot at the 1st whitetail under the net. The net is 40X40 and releases with electromagnets.

Is that Shooter under the net? He's a good booooy. biggrin.gif

Are there wires going to each fastend point/magnets of the net? Or are they wireless?

They are hardwired from the controller to pole 1 - pole 2 - pole 3 - pole 4 -the center pole. When the power supply is interrupted all the magnets release the weights on the corners and the net is pulled down.

Ok the animals are under the net...they come in for the food. You hit the net, it drops...Then what? They get all tangled up, Can't run and you dart them and leave them be until the drug works?
How many can you net at one dropping?

Yes we can drop the net, give the a sedative and start untangling them from the net and do whatever we need to do with them(different pen, trailer, measure, meds, etc).

The answer to the $64,000 question is how many will fit and how many do you want to deal with. On average 1 - 2 up to 6 - 8. We could actually catch 20 - 30 axis, but would need lots of hands on deck.
