The other night we had a jar of canned venison. I can the backstraps and this time a couple of the larger muscle groups from the hind quarters. We just open the jar, pour off the liquid, coat the bitesized pieces with flour and quickly sear in a pan. On the plate I like to sprinkle some butter flavor salt on and enjoy.
We also had some hamburgers made with venison and they were great. I actually had a beef burger and a venison burger and liked the venison better.
Yesterday we celebrated Erics birthday at our house with a big pan of Venison Lasagna it was sooo good. Also had a chocolate cake with Peanut butter icing for Erics birthday. Man that many candles makes a bonfire.

Oops I think I will pay for that last remark.
