I just put in for a gator tag...i was told not to hold my breath but i have been told once and a while someone with no preference points gets one....we will see. I saw a 12+ last night on a pond bank where i was hog hunting....

Sounds like a fishing trip in the making. Good luck. It must have been the alligator that you had while here that made you apply. In TX we have landowner tags also avail. Check with the wildlife people and then with the locals for a tag.
