Well.. I went out this afternoon thirsty for blood. I said to myself that if that button buck came past me again like he did Saturday afternoon, I would take him. With the way things are going in our woods with the lack of sign and deer sightings I figured I would hurry up and put one on the ground. The pressure is off now and the deer is hanging. It was like a 25 yard shot with the DXT and I absolutely smoked him. The Slick Trick tipped Goldtip ate through him before he knew what hit him. He ran 25 yards and piled up within 5 seconds.

Atta boy son wink.gif ...
I waited for Joe to get out of school and we got in the woods by 3:30 I was on the other end of the woods and Joe radioed me that we had meat on the ground. I climbed down my tree and headed home to get the kart for transport. Met him and we got the deer home.
Way to go Joe. smile.gif

Way to go Joe. Sounds like you put the perfect shot on it too. Congrats. Glad to see you are still liking the slick tricks. Keep at it as the rut should be starting soon and then who knows what will be around.
