I go for the climber but most of my hunting is done out of permanent stands.

Hmmm. Let see. I have 2 permanant ground blinds, one a machine crate re built in the middle of the woods. One leaning type ladder stand on a sloping ridge, 2 15' high treestands (pressure treated wood and maitained). Thats on our land upstate. When I/we hunt behind the house, I have one chain on stand that I find a tree for, set it and take the steps, and a Summit broadhead backpacker for climbing back here in these woods also..

I have 5 hang ons , one climber and a ground blind. I like the hang ons and screw in steps.
