Thanks guys! Unfortunately no deer this year on my birthday. They are a little hard to find this year and very hard to pattern? I purposely set my quad at a strategic point to deter deer away from it to push them past me. When I left my stand after seeing zero deer, they were standing by my quad! 533[1].gif They are not stupid by any means. biggrin.gif

When I got home my neighbor called. I figured he saw me come in and was wondering how my day went, which is what he uasually calls for. Not this time! He was upset and asked if I was going to hunt after dark I may want to stay on my own property? 533[1].gif The legal hunting time ended at 6:19 last night and the time it takes to break down a climber and walk back to the quad, then drive home takes some time? I was home at 6:50pm. I went out of the woods with my lights off because I could still see well enough to drive. I went past his house with my lights off also because he has lots of deer in his yard and if I come through slowly it won't distub them as much. He thought I was sneaking out of the woods? I've been doing this for years? I guess I need to have a heart to heart talk with him and see what is really bothering him? He knows I am an honest guy and would NEVER take advantage of him in any way? Besides, how do you bow hunt after dark? 533[1].gif wink.gif He just turned 80 so maybe he has some issues starting?
