These are pics that are just NOT availible to the general public. I had to do some massive networking to get a hold of these. The resolution is so good the pics look fake.
I walk this site daily, but mostly stay way underground working on the Museum lighting. It should open in about a year. There have been incredible delays with design and paying sub contractors. The owner of the company I work for, is owed over 20 million. Yes, that is 20 Million dollars. Yet he keeps workers at the site toiling daily. He will get paid, but it will take some time. Glad he is a patient man.
I take great pride in working at this site and ride others who install shoddy or uncraftsmanlike work. To me this place is a cemetary and should be treated with the highest honor. This is my 2nd year working at Ground Zero. The most important job I have ever worked on in my 28 years in the electrical industry. The tall one of course is Tower 1(we call it the Freedon Tower) Tower 4 is on the far right, and Tower 2 has not yet come out the ground, a lot of subway train work taking place below, Tower 3 is just a stump at this point.
I hope you enjoy these pics. Not many folks have seen them.

These are pics of when the shuttle flew over the site.
