AYERACIN

The first iRacing oval pro series race was last night at Daytona, and the 1st split was stacked as hell. I q'ed 13th and rode in the top 10 most of the race until I got burned by a caution just before I entered the pits. There was only 2 or 3 wrecks, and I believe I was every one, lol. It was pretty awesome racing though, and i ended up coming in 15th which i was pretty happy considering I was upside down and flipped 3 times.

What a race! I was up to third in the legends race and my damn internet connection went out.

Here's some pics and the results of the all the races except half of split #3 and all of #4. Unfortunately quite a few fast guys got thrown in the 2nd/3rd splits when they should have been in the 1st.

I've got a good question. If you get your car tore up a little bit, is it better to ride it out, park, or reset? I guess I'm asking does resetting kill your SR?

Ride it out for sure, or reset in lower divisions. SR is calculated by Corners Per Incident, therefore, you run more laps=more corners which means that it offsets the incidents.

Alright, reason i was asking is because I had got into the outside wall a little bit and screwed the RF wheel up. It was still drivable, but laptimes dropped a good .5 second.

I'd probably reset, so I could run the rest of the laps and maybe gain a spot or 2. Just make sure when you reset your somewhat close to your pit stall, or towing will take forever.

but yeah, use those resets anytime you can, they go away once you hit the Class C series. (ie. Trucks and Star Maxda)

When I was beta testing the game, I never used the reset. I think at South Boston someone used it and it reseted them back like 3 laps, which was a waste.

Legends are awesome on that game though.. and Jeff, I was just kidding. I used to race Jr. almost every night when we were in the first stages of the beta, hes amazing at South Boston Late Models.
