Description: Tobias' father was a blacksmith, one of the best around. As a result, Tobias' father trained him to use his main product, swords. His mother, however, was a mage. She specialized in elemental magic and was able to enchant any weapon with elemental power. Noticing the way Tobias stared at the sky during lightningstorms, she taught him the basics of lightning magic, including enchantment of weapons.
When Tobias was 17, his father gave him a sword, the sharpest and strongest that he had ever made. He sent Tobias into the world with but one statement. "Never look back." Tobias returned home on his 18th birthday to find that his home, his father's shop, and the land were destroyed by fire. Not finding anyone left, Tobias became a drifter, no longer able to call any place home.
Other possessions: The Ring of Agility - Tobias' mother gave the ring to him while he was learning the use of lightning magic. She told him that to use lightning successfully, you must become like the lightning. This ring increases his speed in battle.
