Scott awoke gently, as did the blue bird that had settled beside his head. She had forgiven him for his unintentional neglect, even more so, now, because of that dream. She didn't personally share the dream with the others, but Scott's mind had been channeling bits of it throughout his sleep. It was completely subconscious, but it wasn't necessarily directed toward Dialyn.

Scott rubbed his eyes, the details from the dream vivid within his mind, as well. As he looked around, he noticed the look on Howard's face, before it was interrupted by his deity. Apparently, he had experienced something similar to what Scott was, now. His mind soon stopped dwelling on the others, and switched to the meaning of the dream.

'Only a few days in each world...? Know both sides, but there's no need to choose...?' Scott abruptly interrupted his own thoughts with another, more urgent one. 'Wait, our home world will be destroyed? And all the others!? What did we get ourselves into!?'

Adam bolted to a stand, Juno who was sleeping on his chest bounced on the ground painfully as her master seized his sword. He gazed around the tent, his eyes as hard as steel. After a short moment, his eyes softened and he put his blade back in the sheathe. He noticed Juno on the floor and picked her up, earning him a smack to the face.

“Ow!” he rubbed his cheek as his familiar climbed onto his left shoulder. “Good morning to you too…” he said to her bitterly. He then saw that two others were conscious, he casually waved. “Morning.” He paused, not sure if he should divulge with them his dream. “You guys won’t believe that dream I just had.”

He sighed and turned around, at the corner of his eye he saw Alphonse walking outside through the slit of the tent. His eyebrows raised in surprise. 'Al!'

Adam pushed open the flaps of the tent and stepped outside.

Alphonse's eyes were cast downwards at the ground, dragging his feet along. His face was covered in a soot-like substance, like he just came out of a fire. Genesis however was spotless, despite following his master everywhere.

While the farm boy kept walking on, Genesis paused and turned to Adam. Like always, he didn't say a word nor made a sound. He just stared for a brief moment before chasing up to Al.

Huh?!’ Adam watched Alphonse leave. His familiar poked his face and he recoiled in shock, Juno swaying on his shoulder. “What’s up?”

“He’s not here.” Juno muttered softly, so the others wouldn’t hear. Adam stared at Al.

“What do you mean? He just looked at me like he wanted to say something. Trust me; Al definitely has something on his mind.”

“Your friend isn’t here.” Adam scratched his head in puzzlement, not entirely sure what Juno was playing at.

“Is this a trick question?” Juno shook her head in irritation.

“It isn’t a question. It’s a fact. He’s on auto-pilot.” Something clicked in Adam’s mind.

“Oh! So you mean that his body is moving on its own? So where’s Al?” There was a short pause.

“I don’t know.”

The youth walked in front of the other to block him, grabbing his shoulders. “Al? Are you alright? Where have you been?” he glanced at Genesis for answers, the kitten meowed at him dully. “Some help you are.” He told the cat, who meowed again and looked away.

Al finally looked up at his friend. His eyes showed no signs of recognition, and after a short paused, pushed Adam aside, continuing his walk. Drifting further and further away... and further still.

Genesis, who had his gaze on Adam, whipped his head away. If he was human, it would seem like a display of disgust or hate. Maybe that's exactly the kind of expression the familiar wanted to show.

It took Scott a bit to process everything that was going on within his mind. He hadn't even really noticed Adam or Al wake up. That is, he didn't notice until now, that both of them were gone. If nothing else, that dream told him that it was going to be important that they work together. Besides that, if there really was something trying to find them, they would need to stick together.

Scott hurriedly climbed out of his sleeping bag, then strapped on his leather arm guard. He held his arm out to Dialyn, who then gently flew to her perch. He may have wasted too much time, but Scott earnestly wanted to catch up to the two guys.

He emerged from the tent and saw Adam and Al... well, it wasn't a conversation, because Al didn't speak. He looked almost... zombie-like. Scott hurried after Al, but stopped when he reached Adam.

"Hey, what's going on with him?"
