What type of schooling do you use? What do you think of it?

I'm homeschooled, and I like it because it gives me the chance to think of God and do the things he wants for me. It also gave me the chance to create this forum and to relaize that I have a talent for Writing.

I'm homeschooled too.

I like it because my school days are flexible for babysitting like if someone wants me to babysit in the morning, then that's no problem, I'll just do school in the afternoon instead.

And I'm soooooooooooooo glad to be in a good Christian homeschooling group, because once a week when I'm coming back from sign language class, I see tons of public high schoolers walking home in big groups. The thing is, they ALL look like the guys are in gangs, and the girl's clothes are so tight with their waist showing and all they're doing is trying to draw attention to themsleves for the wrong reasons. What's worse than seeing the way they dress is hearing the words they talk with. If I had to walk home and be seen with them everyday, I'd be embarrassed!

"For everything in the world - the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does - comes not from the Father but from the world."

For those of us who were never homeschooled, we can still make a difference in the public school setting. We can stand up for Christ, (even though it's not the popular thing to do), by not dressing like the world does or talking like the world does either. Kids look for the "real thing", and rarely see it. However, when they do see it in someone else, it leaves a lasting impression. So my advice is to make a difference for Christ, wherever you are, either homeschooled or public.
