And how is it that he only had shorts on?? She had a full jumpsuit??? (And I mean BEFORE) she dressed in the black Fembot suit. Also, that black suit was a little reminiscent of the Return/Bigfoot epis.
Well, I guess the shorts matched his flesh colored tennis shoes (which, his tennis ALWAYS matched what he wore). I am SO GLAD they didn't put him in tube socks pulled up to his knees!! The horror. Again, Return/BF.
Not that I mind...he was shirtless!
Btw, Is it just me, or what, but why do they look so good running together??? I mean, its RUNNING... 'Course here's for you Oscar fans, there is something about Oscar tieing a tie [ie Return/Robot Maker]...woof!! [I know, seek therapy--what can I say! ]
I think it may be that they are so gracefull APART, add their chemistry and together they are spectacular. Again, Return/BF the way he was helping her up the mountain, the Fembots and their run over the dam (though some of that was NOT them), all their scenes from BW and the Return/BW. They (as characters) just seemed to have so much fun.
It's hard to put chemistry like that into words. I don't see it often. I must say they were just so comfortable around each other. When they let them play together, that is. I SOOOO can't wait for the 3rd season of SMDM! AND the 4th!
Something always bugged me about Return of Bigfoot: Why did Steve need to help Jaime up the mountain, when she's just as bionic as he is? Heck with chivalry; she should be every bit as capable!

Probably because Steve has more military training and NASA training to withstand the shockwave and the extreme heat from the volcano than Jaime.
However, I bet Jaime can beat Steve at a game of tennis.

It's because women weren't allowed to run topless in the rain on network television back in the 1970s ...... so us guys had to suffer.

I think it's because Lee and Lindsay knew how to run and how it was going to be edited in slow motion.
Note on "Fembots in Las Vegas" how rdiculous the actresses playing the fembots (including Jennifer Darling) looked when they were running in slow mode.

I noted in the Bionic Wiki in the Kill Oscar II section that the incident was the 2nd time that Steve was forced to confront a robot duplicate of Oscar.
Does anyone felt that it was a rehash ala "Fly Jaime" to "Survival of the Fittest" ?

Yeah it was the heat. Steve didn't get much further but the guy IN THE BIG THICK FUR SUIT DID...talk about "go figure " I guess cause he was all machine??? I can't remember.
Actually X, in BEA, she beats his behind in racquetball every time. Jaime to Steve, walking into the court: "Ready to go to the cleaners darlin'? C'mon..." Like a cow to slaughter She is so NOT afraid of him.
Now HANDBALL...

uhhhhh....they still aren't What I meant was, why didn't he have his jump suit on. I see what you mean though...she couldn't very well be in bra and panties on network tellie. Didn't Ursala Andrews have a bikini on in Bond? 'Course that was the movies. WAIT!! She was in a bikini in her Lisa Galloway story. When she was in Nassau. Oh well!

You see Farrah run ? I kinda wondered if that was an unspoken reason why SHE was never asked (?) to play Jaime. Her arms and legs go everywhere.

That whole epi, first the title: "Fly Jaime" which sounds so...eww!! So sad!! It makes me mad they didn't write an original script for her at times. I know she said the scripts were a constant battle. Heck! With THAT on the board... The only saving grace is that she says to Rudy, "I'm grateful for you for giving me a second chance at life...and Steve." YESSSSSSS!!!! And we find out about her penchant to freak out at snakes. Growing up in Ojai, tall grass, warm weather...look out!!
As far as Oscar, today I am not impressed that Steve slipped the hair off the Macy's store manikin to expose a big LIGHT BULB. Me: Boy! When this robot gets an idea...it'd be like a H-bomb going off!! (get it? Idea, lightbulb going off..?? WELL! I thought it was funny )

Speaking of lightbulbs, who was the idiot that left the lightbulb/power cell intact on the Callahan fembot before storing it in the vault?
Not to mention that it should have been either the Lynda or Oscar model that was in the bolt.
Here's another scene thing that bothered me about Kill Oscar part 2.
Here's Katy monitoring Steve's arrival at Franklin's base:
Note she is wearing the tradional black fembot jumpsuit.
Now here's Katy (5 to 8 minutes top) later.
How and why did Katy change cloths so fast. Also since Katy was planning to go into combat, wouldn't it have been more appropiate for her to wear the jumpsuite rather than this casual streetwear?
Well.... maybe she was considering it fourplay Alittle fighting, a little out on the town...
I know, I know, what's better than basic black when you're trying to pick up a man? But that's usually a dress of some sort. AND it was early, not a late night date.
So maybe alittle fighting, a little picnic, a little running through the tall grass

Someone on another board said that SFIChannel cut out 3mins. of each episode when it aired BW/SMDM in the 90's. I have them on tape, and things that I remember seeing when I was a kid are definately missing. Sucks. And yes ,Lee Majors is hot running around in his little shorts!
