Denothain strolled along the edge of the Lake Hylia, and sighed peacefully, staring out at the beautiful sunset. He laid a hand on the hilt of his sword and stared at his reflection out of the water. HE saw long, flowy brown hair, and dark green eyes, tan skin and quite a bit of height. He looked back up at the sunset and sat down on a large rock, and taking in the fresh lake air. He stripped his gloves, and ran his hands through his hair. He felt around for his hidden hair clip with his long fingers and found it. Staring at the ornate piece of jewelry which he always kept hidden, he examined for the thousandth time the small ruby and diamond which looked like they interlocked with each other. His father made it for his mother, and she gave it to him togive to whoever he pleases... However, he knew that he would never find her... He never had luck with that kind of thing...

Moresere flies over gently as if her wings were being caressed by the wind. She fluttered around to Denothain's side and landed next to his hand that was gently placed on his now comfortable rock. She softly spoke to him and asked, "Hello, from where did you come?" As she says this, she flutters her wings a bit, getting them in the right cozy place, and gleams a beautiful radient pale magenta light from around her. She looks up eagerly at Denothain, awaiting his reply to her friendly question and hoping to make a new friend.

Denothain looked down at the fairy warmly and grinned. "Hello... I came from somewhere i cant even remember... And you?" he asked the question back. His voice had become gentle, and his manner was not as rigid as it normally was. He flicked his head gently, anbd his hair flew back, but it didnt stay there. it just flopped back into his face again. He rubbed the back of his head, and while he did that, he placed the hairpin back in his hair.

Moresere was glad for her new aquantance to respond. She replied, "I'm in search of a kokiri, or maybe just a companion. I'm mighty lonesome, and I left my home without someone to take care of. Everyone I have seen has been so busy except you.. what a nice change to finally see an unbusy person!" Moresere then looked into Denothain's eyes and realized, he must be tired.. maybe having a long day. Assuming she was right, she stared streight ahead and, after a long pause, said, "I see you're a Hylian guard. Do you work in or near the castle? You must see beautiful people if you do, many rich things.. and good food too." Moresere sighs and thinks she might be boring her current friend. Her talk about food made her hungry too, and she looked down at her stomach sadly. "How rude, I haven't introduced myself.. my name is Moresere, I thank you for the company. Might I ask your name?"

Link, weary from running all over Hyrule Field after having left Kokiri Forest early that morning to carry out his task by the Great Deku Tree, trudged along the fence to stop by Lake Hylia. He was exhausted, but had to keep going; he knelt down by the rivulet-type body of water leading to the lake and dipped his hands into it. He submerged his face into his hands full of water and then leaned his head back to face the sun. After a few moments of this, he looked across from him on the far side of the rivulet to see a man older than he but still quite young, and also a fairy similar to his own. Unsure of where to go as he was, he grabbed up his sparse belongings and began to make his way towards them, Navi following close behind.

Denothain watched the fairy intently. " Well... ITs sort of true to see most people quite busy as the day reaches its peak... but then, when night comes, you might be able to find someone to talk to." he smiled, hoping she used the advice. The fairy seemed nice enough. "and yes, i am a Hylian guard... Not that i like the standing guard al the time. it just helps the time go by. And i earn a bit of money at the end of the day. The foods ok for what i am, and you do see people walking around and lots of really nice things." he said, thinking back to the little guard house, an the mediocre grub he gets, while on duty. however, he just brings in a decent sandwich for the day. "My name is Denothain. Very nice to meet you!"

Moresere sighs. She stretches her arms and suddenly becomes aware of a boy and another fairy approching. Standing on her feet she looks at the both of them, first the fairy, and then the boy. She noticed the fairy's blue-ish glow, and the boys green tunic (and realized he was a kokiri). She flew a couple inches in the air where she was, not to show a bit of her excitement, but rather to divi her height so she could talk to the boy and his fairy as they approached.

"Hoy," Link said as he set down his shield and other heavy things he had to lug around with him down by the shore of the lake. He sat down on a large stone to rest and tried not to look too obvious as he looked over and observed the man there; his eye caught the sword and Hylian shield the man was carrying and he suddenly became very nervous; he wasn't in very good favor with the Hyrule Castle guards since his numerous secret visits to Princess Zelda. Hoping the guard wouldn't recognize him, he looked worriedly into the horizon and figured he'd best be on his way soon before he got arrested.

Denothain noticed the mans shiftyness, and grinned slightly. "Thers no need to be nervous, Link. Im off duty. And im supposed to be staioned at the gates when i am anyway. You're safe."
He found his hair clip again and started to play with it, grinning of times gone by...

Moresere sat back down, noticing she might have yet again been acting a little too excited. Flustered and a bit embarassed, she glowed dark pink to keep her face hidden that was deeply placed in her folded wings. She sighed once more. Looking over, she noticed Denothain fumbling with something. Tired of talking she yawned and watched him stare at his seemingly (and obviously) sentimental ornament. She then flung her purse to her side [yes purse]. It was woven out of fair blush-colored silk, and hung at her side gently and delicately, being both somewhat like a fancy handbag and a travel mailbag. Of course, it looked teenie to anyone looking.. and was hardly recognizable unless explained (afterall, it's hard to determine what it is when your not her size). She pulled out a single petal and gazed at it, the same way her companion sitting next to her gazed at his object. "What people give you sometimes." she said to herself. Gently placing her treasure back into her purse.. she thought of leaving where she was.. and mostly thought of home. Her kokiri home.

Link breathed out a sigh of relief when the guard said he wouldn't arrest him, even though he was surprised he knew his name. When he let out the air he had been holding tightly in his lungs since he had sat down on the large stone, he almost choked. Now embarrassed, he blushed and knelt down by the water to drink a swig of water from his cupped hands. He set his things up on the boulder and and walked timidly and tiredly over to the new little fairy. She looked slightly familiar, but more majestic than a Kokiri fairy; she looked more like a fairy of outside his home, perhaps from one of the Sacred Temples or the Great Fairy's Fountain herself, but seemed to have the temperament of a playful type from the forest. He held out his finger to her to see if she would come closer. "Are you from around here?" Link asked her, closely examining her tiny aire. "You're a very beautiful fairy, are you perhaps from on top of Death Mountain in the Fountain fortress?" He hoped he wasn't being offensive from sounding so assuming.

Moresere tiptoed and then fluttered a bit onto the boys finger. "I was raised from all around Hyrule" she said as she glowed a radient magenta. "..I've traveled many places though, Kokiri forest.. and yes, near Death Mountain.. and spent time in Kakariko Village." Tiptoe-ing down the boys finger, she sat in the palm of his hand and smiled up at him. "And what might your name be?" she asked, assuming that the boys name might not be Link. Adding, "You look like a Kokiri, but so grown for such a young race..?" Standing up, she again stared at him with a smile.

Although the guard had just mentioned Link's name, he repeated it for the little fairy anyway, perhaps she hadn't heard: "My name's Link," he said in an awkward tone, carefully looking her over while she strolled lightly down his finger and then sitting softly in his palm. "Your history seems interesting," he said, thinking it as in a way similar to his own. "I am a Kokiri, but since I've left the forest I guess I don't get to stay one." He was a little disappointed as he said this, never having really thought about it before, but then remembered he was specifically chosen for this task and now got a chance all other Kokiri had never gotten and never would. He opened his mouth to speak to the fairy, but then exhaled as he thought it better not to with a royal guard standing right there, even though he seemed more sociable then the others. "It's a long story," he decided to say instead, "maybe I'll be able to tell you about it sometime." He smiled at Navi as she rubbed up against his right cheek with her left wing and fluttered off, his cheered-up gaze following her.

Looking up to the guard waiting to see he would reply, Moresere sat and looked out at the water. She stayed in the boy's hand as the two of them sat watching the water calmly and looking for an occasional fish to splash the top of the water. Moresere stared over the hills to the east, and wondered what might be there. "A plus for any fairy, " she thought, "is the gift of flight to go where you want to." The guard at this time she had noticed, had become unresponsive. "Perhaps he fell asleep.." she said aloud.

Denothain shook from his momentary daze. His gaze had followed the waters edge all along, and he was daydreaming again. He did that a lot, especially with that little hairclip in his hand.

"Im still awake..." The young guard said, dazedly. "I was just... Day dreaming. I do that a lot." he shook his head slightly, and grinned at the two.

Swinging his sword at the wolfos biting at his feet, Faloh fell back into a tree. As the Wolfos lunged at him he spun away and jabbed with his sword. He grazed the beast's left shoulder, which left it crying on the ground. When Faloh was about to finish it off he was hit from the side. The blow sent him flying over the nearby cliff, and crashing down into a stream. As he started to go under the freezing water he thought "Is this the end...?" ohmy.gif (OCC im new how can i change the fairy icon, or does that matter [im not a fairy])
