I was browsing this site, and I was just thinking there are a couple changes one might make.
(1) Invisionfree! ARGGHHH *runs and hides*. You should get the regular invision...all you need is a server, a MySQL server. and PHP support on your PC, or use a webhost that has MySQL and PHP. (2) You should make some kind of general discussion forum. For instance, I was thinking about making a topic, "Will OoT be released on DS?" but there's no where to put it. I guess this is an RPG site so you might have no interest in it..but just a thought. |

Thank you for your opinions! They're greatly appreciated for improving the site in any way. As for the general discussion forum, there is in fact one on the site that was suggested by another member a couple months ago entitled "Chattin' It Up OOC." You can take quick look at it here. If you're confused about OOC topics, a very simple explanation is in the Rubrics and Ordinance section under DOs and DON'Ts. You can also see that here.
Thank you once again, we're always happy to get suggestions and comments. |

What about my first suggestion? It's not that hard to set up Invision regular, you should. Invisionfree throws off a lot of people before they even look at the site.

I know this is very unprofessional but I'm going to step out of character for a minute and be informal...
To make a long story short, I have heard from a couple people that regular invision is more appealing than invisionfree, however there are a few facts that make it a better option to stay with what we have: -invisionFREE---doesn't cost money, I'm not one to support the forums on funds, and ads can be removed eventually -it took a few months to get the site completed and in addition to get the custom layout and buttons---went through painstaking annoyance to make sure it was visually acceptable -posting members don't seem to notice there are "better" options, and besides the ad banner which can be removed there really aren't any significantly noticeable "downsides," for lack of a better word if you have more comments or questions regarding this, my PM box is always available also. |
