Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact and continue their lives apparently unchanged. Most of humanity has succumbed. These invaders are called "souls." They've been around for centuries, and they can easily be transferred from host to host. Their technology is above and beyond anything that humans have ever accomplished. This is their first time coming to the planet Earth. However, there are human rebels who live hidden away from these invaders. There are different camps of people, working together to survive and stay hidden. And while there is a clear line between "humans" and "souls," there isn't only hatred between the two groups. Some humans have befriended the souls, like the souls have befriended the humans...living together in harmony. This is definitely not the normal way of living, though. Most humans will kill any soul they see, and most souls will hand over the humans to be taken over by other souls. There's a fine line between love and hate, and sometimes it's hard to decide who can be trusted. With this ongoing struggle between the two groups, who will come out on top? There's no end in sight. Will the souls capture the remaining humans, or will the humans fight back? Or maybe the two groups can finally all live together with no epic struggle. Which side are you on? Will you take THE OTHER PATH?
