Listening to Black Happy

Friendly Dog Salad & Peghead

They just did a 5 show reunion tour 2 shows in Spokane 3 in Seattle. I was all all three in Seattle. Hope they decide to maybe do another reunion. Its been 15 years since they played together.. Sounded like they never broke up.

lately i've been listening to some random stuff:

alton ellis
can I just tell you that this dude can write some good love songs!

Baroque classical. it gets my brain going

Guilty Faces-domestic bliss will make you feel like someone gets you if you're really bummed out. it helps me a lot

Hex Dispensers
they will make you want to dance. at least they make me want to dance

and stalag13 went pretty quick up to my top five favorite bands list!

Yeah, they were from Portland, OR. Right after they released their CD in 2003, they were in a car accident that killed their singer, bassist and drummer. It was very sad. They played in Seattle all the time. I love their CD.

Yeah isn't that terrible? I heard about that after someone had me listen to their album guitar romanatic. It's a shame really, they're one of the catchiest bands i've ever heard!
