It is a curious thing, Harry, but perhaps
those who are best suited to power are those
who have never sought it. Those who, like
you, have leadership thrust upon them, and
take up the mantle because they must, and
find to their own surprise that they wear it well.
Hogwarts Online is a intermediate Harry Potter RPG site, based on the novels by JK Rowling. The story begins a few years after the final defeat of Lord Voldemort, after the school’s exterior has been rebuilt and fortified, having been damaged in the final battle.
As the former Headmaster Severus Snape died in the battle, and Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall is too tired to take on the role of Headmistress, they have appointed a former student, Chelsea Marie Blythe, a Slytherin Graduate, the duty of Headmistress. However Professor McGonagall shall continue her duties as Deputy Headmistress.
Many teachers have chosen to return to the school, to help get their beloved Hogwarts back on it's feet. However, many new faces have arrived as well.
Because of the death of Lord Voldermort, there has been no real dark power to threaten the rebuilding of the wizarding community around the world. Small bands of factions have been raised up amongst the older Death Eaters, but so far they have posed no real threat, although most people are aware of their existence.
However, a dark power is rising, unknown to the professors and students who are merrily on their way towards the re-opening school. Connections inside the walls of the castle create an uneasy influence by those who wish to rise to power, and pick up where the Dark Lord left off. Can they defeat this new evil? Or shall the wizarding community be doomed to face another dark lord?
