There are several rules that need to be covered. If you disobey them, you'll find yourself in trouble. So here are the rules:

1. No spamming whatsoever. It gets annoying after a while. Spamming is equal to:

a. Posts less than 4 letters long. An example of this is:
"Ok" or "Alright then" - keep these to a minimum, because it is considered a pointless post otherwise.

b. Streams of smilies gets annoying, so any long streams of smilies are NOT allowed. Any post which only consists of a smilie are also not allowed. Like this:
"^_^" or ":P"

c. Any 1337 talk isn't allowed, because there are some people who don't understand it. No n00b talk.

d. Do not harass members by sending them pointless PMs, unless that member states it is okay. DO NOT PM THE ADMIN UNLESS IT IS IMPORTANT.

d. MAKE SURE YOU'RE UNDERSTANDABLE. You don't need to type as fast as Sonic runs. Even if it's a short post, take your time over it to make sure you're understandable. It isn't a 'must' but please try and make sure your grammar is of an okay standard and try not to use caps lock too often.

2. No flaming. I cannot stress how important this is. No 'I hate this person' topics or flaming whatsoever. For those who don't understand the term 'flaming', it can be defined as getting insulted online. Think of it as possible bullying, but online. If you find yourself the victim of a flame, let me know and I'll sort it. Stating your opinions are okay: 'I don't like this because...' No putting people down, insulting people or anything bad like that. If this happens, you'll be looking at a warn and a week's suspension. We take flaming very seriously at this forum.

3. No double-posting. Imagine someone's just responded to a topic. That same someone finds more to say and posts AGAIN, right after they have just posted. That is double-posting. If you have more to say, use the 'edit' button. Don't post again, but simply edit your first post.

4. No major off-topicness. For example, if you are talking about a Mario game, don't suddenly start talking about your problems and stuff. Pointless posts and topics come into this, but just try not to wander too far from what you are discussing. If you want to speak to someone in particular, PM them. That's what the system is for.

5. Anything racist, homophobic, sexist or any kind of discrimination will be locked immediatly upon discovery.

6. No porn/hentai or anything rated too highly for the eyes of younger children. Anything like that found will be deleted. Links may be posted but it must have a warning stating it's highly rated. If anyone follows the link and they're too young to be viewing it, action may have to be taken. RPG cannot contain actual sex SCENES on this site. If it is on another site, then it must come with a warning if you post the link on this forum.

7. No multiple accounts. Just the one is good enough for you. I shall be checking. Multiple accounts will lead one of them to be deleted. If it's intentional, and new accounts that are all yours keep popping up, your IP will be banned. Certain cases will be accepted, but most won't.

8. Respect other's opinions. If they like something you don't, don't nag and flame them about it. Don't try and change their mind. Let them like and/or support what they want to like/support. Anyone who tries to force their opinions on another will be warned. You may state your opinion and discuss it, but no forcing opinions onto other people as if it's fact.

9. No topics saying 'This couple sucks' or 'DIE SALLY!'. Feel free to express in a topic why you may dislike a character, so long as it does not bash and is not offensive.

10. If a topic violates the rules, report it straight away. Don't hang around and post in it. Just report it. Adding to that, no violating the report system. Only use it to report topics which break the rules. A mod or admin will close it straight away.

Please do not violate the rules. We are only trying to create an enjoyable forum which has no spammers and/or rule-breakers. If the rules are violated to a point where it gets annoying, you'll find yourself banned.

We are not out to get anyone. We're looking towards making a forum for fans of Sonic to enjoy, not to get annoyed by the few spammers and rule-breakers out there.
