A NES reproduction of Wanpaku Graffiti.

Thought I'd throw it up in case anyone was interested. Debating on buying it, though 40 bucks is a little steep.

I've seen repros like this before, but I usually try to avoid advertising them. Repros are a major league grey area, legally, and I'd prefer not to advertise them on the forum or WM.

He even plugs our site! :lol  :smokin

Yeah, he's a member here. So to that, I say - thanks for the plug, SnifitDude. ^_^

No need to close the thread down, but an edit would definitely be appreciated.

That's what a Yobo is for to play classic nes and famicom games. I have a portable system called FC Mobile II which is a portrable NES/ famicom system.it plays all kinds including my Legend of Zelda PAL Version. it's too bad they couldn't find a way to do Doki Doki panic in a cartridge or even rerelease it on DS with updated graphics would be great too.

As mentioned in another thread, I recently bought an original NES system, and was dismayed to learn that Wanpaku Graffiti was simply too long to fit in the system with the converter that I have. Since all converters are the same length, there's no way the Famicom cart would ever fit inside an NES without some major surgery - and I ain't about to mutilate my cart.

So I decided to hit up RetroZone and order their repro (yeah, I linked to it. Fuck Namco Bandai, they can't see this anymore, nor do I believe they've been browsing T3M for quite some time). It arrived today, and I have to admit, that's some quality work there. It has a nice dark red cart shell, the label is professional looking, and it fired right up. I played through it and it runs perfectly.

The only thing I don't like about it has nothing to do with the cart. The guys that translated the ROM way back when put a really terrible looking "Super Deformed" where Wanpaku Graffiti goes on the title screen, and that's the same ROM that the repro guys are using (check out the RetroZone page for a picture). Ick. I wish someone would go back into the ROM and fix that so it reads Wanpaku Graffiti.

Shit, forgot about this topic! :lol Good to hear it's a good repro. still need to snag one. I agree with ya though, Super Deformed just doesn't have the same ring as Wanpaku Graffiti .
