Here's a link to a Splatterhouse handheld with packaging we haven't seen before. It's a generic box that housed all the different Namco games in the series, but does have a screenshot on the back and Splatterhouse clip art on it. The instructions are the 'cheap' black and white ones that Rob has up on the West Mansion site.

This auction pisses me off-this item was put up for sale on eBay UK (where the game was originally sold, since it was being auctioned by the original owner). I put in a placeholder bid and intended to jack it up near the end, but forgot, and one other person bid on it (twice to pass me) and got it for $50. That was fine, but then to see that they just bought it to turn a quick profit...IT SHOULD BE IN THE HANDS OF A FAN!!! Oh well...I'll consider buying it when the price comes down a bit, since all I really want is the box.

For anyone interested in a copy of the UK 'Sarcophagus' edition of the 2010 game, there have been several listed recently on eBay UK for less than $100.
